Quoting: CheesenessPerhaps if enough users step forward to calmly and politely say that they are disappointed that there isn't a 32 bit version, that might show enough demand to influence things. As it stands though, claiming that Feral have lied, that they have done poor work, and attacking their employees directly doesn't do anything but make you seem like the sort of customer that any developer would be glad to not have.
But they are just a devs! They have to do what we tell them to do.
no they don't. they can do what they want and you can decide not to buy it. it's called free will

just in case if you still run 32-bit and you yap about that... for christs sake, multilib is there and works flawlessly for 1 or 2 things you still need 32-bit. if you have problems with it, you're running broken distro.

Quoting: AstroLinux community doesn't need other ports. We're completely disappointed in XCOM.
either you still run 32-bit distro or you don't even use linux for gaming. port is awesome, running flawlessly on 9800GT at 720p even though it was way under min specs

Quoting: wolfyrionseems a very descent engine...

I am thinking to start exploring game engines on my vacation and to try to make at least a very tiny game.
what game engine would you recommend for amateurs to make a descent looking game in Linux ?

Unity?
Leadwerks?

anything else that doesn't require much of coding...??
you can't get better answer than this one

not one line of code. you'll just need to wait a bit more for native editor.

holy cow & mother of god. that news just made my day. it's one of the best slashers i played.

i already own DS&DS2 for both PS3 and PC. guess i'll be buying one more and gift to someone when 1st beta drops. and if DS2 drops after, i'll be doing the same gift logic.

nordic simply deserves it. correct me if i'm wrong, i think leszek is nordic employee. at least if i remember correctly, so money already went in right hands

What do you mean? I think my 9800GT supports OpenGL 3.3 and GLSL 3.3, am I wrong? I don't see why they shouldn't work.
yep, my bad didn't notice i looked up glx version... sigh. still, screen is black without crashing and i can listen to music. only one that crashes in 10sec is reflections

Quoting: mrdeathjrThis situation stay mainly on AAA titles from companies like as (EA - KONAMI - UBISOFT - BETHESDA - NAMCO and many others) or on old titles where dont have port

On my case buy games (mainly AAA titles) only if game runs on wine, for example this titles
as much as i like your channel for some games, but don't you think you're giving out some really fscked up message?

"it is ok if AAA games don't get ported, we just want to punish games that are made by indie. INDIE MUST PORT, AAA IS EXCUSED"

remember me was released on june 2013 and in that time linux had quite a lot of acceptance already. we either show we're not prepared to take sh1t or they'll think porting is not needed since revenue is the same. yea, it is harder since you have to grind your teeth for a while, but it is all for good cause

there is another fscked up message here. imagine Aspyr, Feral or someone else wants to port that game. they won't get money from anyone who bought it sooner. what does that say about value in porting to linux? now, if many people watch your channel, how many will do the same as you and equally deprive porters of earnings
