You see Advance Wars, I see Battle Isle. Then again, I might have been heavily shaped by my Amiga 500 back in the day...

Quoting: PhlebiacI picked up God of War for under $17 - I'd been waiting patiently for it to drop below $20. :woot:Unfortunately this is "sold out" by now.

Even though people call it an RPG and I really don't consider it to be one I quite enjoyed it in the beginning. However the longer I played the more my experience was muddied by repetitiveness and some MMO mechanics I really dislike in singleplayer games. At some point it I just felt it wasn't worth it any more.
Maybe the game just isn't for me - which is a pity as it seems to tick a lot of boxes for me. It's not the first time this has happened to me though. For example I hate the Borderlands games with a passion for similar reasons even though they look like I should enjoy them...

Quoting: ExpandingManTherefore Crosscode stands out to me as a game in which I have invested 60 hours that I would thumbs-down on steam. How did this happen?Same here. I don't fully get why people enjoy this game all the way through.

Quoting: KROMIf there's going to be a retail version, you usually can order it from Austria. So far I never had problems activating keys for games that are blocked. Works with digital keys too.Good to know, I'll keep that in mind - thanks for letting me know!

Does anyone know if it's possible to gift it from another account? If so I might be tempted to spend some money on a VPN to try and get it...

Quoting: KROMYeah, but I can't even see the store page and wishlist it, so I don't forget about it. :/Yeah, I am quite disappointed in that, too. That game is on my list of things that would like to give a try.

But I think the problem is that even if the game was practically bug-free, by now way to many people lost interest in it. That is a death sentence for a multiplayer game.

Quoting: Doktor-MandrakeDid they not fix the issues with it? I was initially interested in it, especially with it having splitscreenAccording to the Steam forums they fixed some issues and introduced others.
But all the issues people reported just put me off wanting to get it unless it's ever on a BIG discount
