"three" games? don't you mean "two" games?

Cossacks 3 for Linux finally has a release date and it's close (updated)

Quoting: johnhannibalsmithOne question on the last part of your statement about the Linux developers not making money - are you implying that the Linux port devs are paid in part based on sales after the port? I'm curious how a Linux dev would do better by me if I bought the game after it was ported (or otherwise released) rather than before. Thanks.
It all depends on the companies in question and what their internal contracts state. However what sometimes happens is the porting company/person only gets the Linux sales of the game. If a game is bought before the Linux port is out... it's unknown who gets the money.. guess it depends on the contract. So to be safe its why people ask you to only buy once it's out.

'Factorio' is another game that was being hit by key scammers

Problem is there are -tons- of YouTube and Twitch streamers who have affiliate links with G2A. People trying to find another small income but not really thinking if the company they deal with is doing the right thing.

Tomb Raider for Linux is currently super cheap on the Feral store

Quoting: WorMzyUnfortunately I couldn't get this game to run when I originally bought it, and Feral support didn't respond to me until after I had to refund it on Steam. Maybe it's chance to give it another chance, but I'd have to buy it through Steam again to make sure the refund option is still available to me if it's still not working.

Did anyone else get CTD immediately after the corrupted splash screen, but keep the game? Does it launch properly now?
Not seem any major reports of that, I assume you're not using Ubuntu as that issue sounds very much like missing libraries. We did a bunch of fixes to fix unsupported distro setups in one of our patches that might have solved things.
The only issue I had back in the summer was strangeness with linking to the correct library files where I had to manually copy all the required libraries from the steam runtime into TR own lib folder for the game to actually run correctly. For some reason the game just couldn't find them itself.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided looks like it may be getting a Linux & SteamOS release

Well doesn't look like history will repeat itself.

'Deus Ex' was the game Loki Software was in the middle of porting to Linux before they went bankrupt back in 2001.

Black Mesa developer shoots down anti-Linux troll, confirms Linux version is in progress

Yes you can say whatever you want on your own website. He is free to state whatever he wants on public websites. However I don't expect to see some articles that target 1 individual who has no influence on anything.

It is still not professional to target and accuse some random individual. If they really are a troll? Why does it matter? It's not like he/she is going to care. If anything would get a kick out of it. Yes your site was a personal blog however it's grown beyond that now and some professionalism is needed especially if you want to communicate with game developers and be allowed to review games. One day some game dev may see a post like this and think.. "I don't want to be associated with a site that makes topics like this" and just ignore you.

Black Mesa developer shoots down anti-Linux troll, confirms Linux version is in progress

The topic of this article should have been "Black Mesa dev thinks Linux port is totally worth it" why bring up anyone who has nothing to do with the game. It's unprofessional.

Nightdive Studios aren't sure when the Linux version of the System Shock remake will be available

Nightdive in the past have released 1 (maybe 2) games that were released on Linux where they rewrote the game engine from scratch and then open sourced it.

So they do deserve some praise.

Personally I'd make the *buntus be stacked (not combine) together in a bar.
