Linux version is still in Beta stage on Steam. As soon as we finalize it, we will release it on GOG. It may take some time. Can't give exact or approximate terms.
Just what I wanted to know.
I getting this when there is a gog version out ^^.

Story hype!

Quoting: TobiSGDI will believe it when I see it. We had a launch trailer already for the story mode back in 2015: http://hinterlandgames.com/the-long-dark-story-mode-teaser/ [External Link]
They will leave EA and release "chapter one" in the story along with it.
They game is far from done so in a sence they are probably still in EA.
But the core mechanics for the game are there.

I love how they explain crouching and aiming down sights as a feature of the game.
Might be fun, so probably shouldnt judge the game by this. Still I think I pass.

ARK: Survival Evolved has just had a price increase, it has more than doubled

Quoting: TheBardOh no, we should not say such things ;) They might feel hurt and will likely abandon their port of ARK3 :p
Haha this made my day.

To be fair, they have done some work to improve the Linux version,
It runs better then ever before.
So to say its not been bug fixed and optimazed is wrong. And it still in EA so expect them to be there untill they leave EA. It still runs badly, but in my exp it has to do with the memory leak, but its gotten better, Windows have this memory leak problem aswell.
We are missing texters, but its gotten better aswell.
Ark dont freeze in the main menu or in the loading screen.
So i dont really agree on all the hate here. Its very playble at this moment.
But the price on the other hand is insane yes, and the extra dlc they sell.

The Witcher 3 didn't come to Linux likely as a result of the user-backlash from The Witcher 2

Quoting: GuestYep, ballot stuffing is really going to help you. CDPR and Valve would be able to quickly identify the votes, what they are for, and remove them.
GOG pay attention to their wishlist. CDPR can too.
ok... BUT
GOG Galaxy For Linux (+10K votes) has been at the top of the list for over a year ... never came ... and maybe never will.
They have answered this;

There is no ETA, but its planned and worked on atm.
I would like some more feed back from the devs tho, dont like the silence, only makes me confused.
But thats the latest news we got from it, atleast what I know of.

So I think this is unproffecinal of CDPR and VR, and childish to be honest.
Also add the witcher3 coming to steamOS pre-order sale, thats kinde of illigal to do. Promising a product that later dont get released because of hate from the linux community, I know this was valves banner.

But add the gog support / cdpr support answers, we are working on a linux port, and the longer it took, the less anwers we got from them. Wtf? And we still dont know if its coming, at the moment we are just expecting it not to be out because of the silent treatment, is there a women in charge maybe?
Sry that was a joke xD.

BUT if this is true, what I read in the article, Im not okey with, its childish and unproffecianal.
This is a big gaming company, imagen WB, pixar or any other company, stopt selling or creating something you could pre order just becaue of hate or someone got offended? Imagen if you pre-ordered a car, factory new. But later they stopt, because some customers complained or hated to mutch on the product and somone at the car company got offended. WTF!?
