I'm pretty excited about this. I have a Maxwell GPU that supports manual re-clocking, so the clock speed isn't an issue. Nouveau performance is ... reasonable, except running Vulkan, where it's terrible. With more and more games running Vulkan, whether natively, or via DXVK, it was getting pretty limiting running Nouveau. I'm back to the proprietary driver for now.

Torchlight is the game that got me on Steam, and back into WINE. I made the swap to Linux exclusively in 2006, and I dabbled in WINE at that time, it was too unstable, and I played only Linux native games. Until Torchlight.
It was the first game I bought on Steam, and in the years between 2006 and 2009, WINE had crossed 1.0 mark. It was quite a bit more stable than the 0.9x days.

I'd like a new, widely available, Steam Controller. I wish I'd bought two, when I bought my first one.

Now, I have a problem.
I'm one of the unlucky folks who purchased The Long Dark from GOG. They removed it from the GOG store, but have continued to support it. Every update since it was removed has been released on GOG still.
I wonder if Hinterland will give me a Steam key so I can get the DLC when it's released?

Quoting: GuestWhy do all these games look childish as if meant for elementary/high school children? Where are the serious games? Here's [External Link] a less childish looking game for you. Made in Godot, it's hard and fun.

It will be interesting to see if this turns up as any improvement on my 10 year old Haswell chip.

Quoting: AzPI hope they spend some time on improving performance... Considering the graphical fidelity, the game is a bit "power hungry".This. There's better looking games that run a lot smoother than Valheim on my tired old laptop.
