Quoting: dorronHalf-life 3 incoming...nope, just joking
It will not be half-life 3. Probably half-life 2.9999...
Well, for me half-life it's better than half-life 2 (it's still a good game, but I prefer the first one).
Hope that if they make a new half-life game it's great (and also it's for linux).

ps: It would be great if valve makes half-life 3 exclusive for linux. I'm sure many people will install linux.

Quoting: SolarwingIs this a hit for Linux we need?I doubt about it.Still emulation is good for older generations. I know some old games I would love to play again but maybe I'll play them with a bigger screen. But I admit the concept is a tempting one. Hopefully it gains success...
Yes this odroid with double power and tv output will be perfect. We should wait a little more... But as it is it has great value. The ps1 games look better on a small screen that on my big screen on my pc.

It's a shame... I have an odroid go advance (black edition) and it's great. One of the reasons that I choose odroid was becouse I could build myself. And it has the same chip... It needs more power for some n64, psp, dreamcast games. I will wait for the ordoid go super advanced next year.

Quoting: TheRiddickGuessing this will be running at a beautiful 10fps on latest AMD cards, lol
Going to 0fps raytracing to 10fps raytracing it's a big improvement. Next generation graphics cards will do better.
When I was at univerity (about 10 years ago) I work on a university project to raytracing a scene, and I paint a 3d scene with a cluster of 3 computers (6 cores) and it took 10 minutes or more (if you wanted better graphics). Now this grapics card does in a second. It's a big improvmenet. I was sure that I wouldn't never see some kind of raytracing on realtime never.

It remains me the idea of "Second life". Sure it's different, but interesting. And it's at a good time that many people has to be at home for the covid.

Exactly what I was thinking. But it would break the game having an invincible army.

This is what I call a good company. Releasing the source code when they can.
Now we will have "amnesia" running on the microwave and everywhere like doom.

Great visuals, a custom engine (not common nowadays) and explicit linux support.
