I'm a fan of real time strategy games. And a Linux fan. Of course I will sing to get one of the few strategy games on linux.

Will it ever be a free to download game and a complete one?
I have great memories with the old unreal tournament on linux, but if it doesn't run well, you have to register, and it's not a properly game. I prefer one of the multiples free open source games fps that are already on linux and plays well.

I game with a phenom II x4 955 (3.2Ghz) I think it's about time to upgrade.
I could wait a little more, but some games need more power (civ VI) and some need more instructions.

I have to say, I just installed it and didn't run at the moment (crashed) with the error "Sid Meier's Civilization VI/./Civ6: Symbol `_ZTVN10__cxxabiv120__si_class_type_infoE' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking"
I added "LD_PRELOAD='./usr/$LIB/libstdc++.so.6'" %command% to the game's run parameters, and it works.
I have an arch linux. If anyone has the same problem.
And I just run it, but I didn't find steam workshop support. I will search for it later. (Or it could be disabled like at the beginning of CIVV, that modding a simple script let anyone install through steamworkshop)
Now only I need to buy the AMD ryzen, my phenom II is getting old for this kind of gaming.

I have probably a "classic question". If I buy the boxed version and install with the steam code on linux. My money will go for the linux or windows version?

I never tried G2A. Some friends recommended me Instant Gaming. I bought 3 games. And, for now the service works.
I don't know how they get the keys. But buying steam keys from random sellers (not the developer or steam). It has always a risk.
