I runs without touching anything. It's already a first step. It's a really simple game made with unity (has a big unity logo). For the first look they should improve the menus. They are really simple.

Nearly 4 years later, Steam still won’t close to the tray icon on Linux without workarounds

Sorry I just released now, but this simply I don't care. What I care is for example to not have streaming over internet, or the classification of games that they do. Games,/ steamos + linux games/ mac games. I would rather prefer windows games/linux games/mac games/etc...
What if there is a linux exclusive game? It seems that "Games" it's all for windows games. It's confusing.

The latest Steam Client Beta has sorta broken downloads and updates for some Linux users

Sadly, I have to say that I also have this "write error". I'm trying to install "the talos principle", and it's difficult. It works sometimes, and then it says error.

It's the beta version, sure they are trying to find the problem. If it where the official build, it would be worried.

Next dlc/expansion, unnatural disaster, war, riots, UFOs and robots.

Waiting for giving some destruction fun. Hopefully can be manually activated, like simcity.

Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition removed from stores in favour of the new Anniversary World Tour, no Linux support

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is the new updated title that only supports Windows, as it uses DirectX 11. Seems a fair few people are pretty unhappy with this new edition too.
Does it run on eDuke32? Does it work with eDuke32?
I watch a video review from LGR (youtube), he is a dukenukem 3d fan, he complains that it's 20$ for a chapter, the sound is worse (it has some more sound), some graphic twitches, you cannot save (only rewind), no linux or mac support, and also says that the maps are not compatible with eduke32.

So, sadly, no, if you don't have dukenukem 3d, the only option to play it is pirate it now.

AMD Zen looks like it will release at CES in January 2017

I have a nice AMD phenom II x4 955 (3,2Ghz). I think it's time to make the jump to 8 cores (16 threads)... if the price is right.
I have been reading news for the zen for quite a while, and its seems that this is possible as they switch to a traditional cpu design (at last),switching to 14nm, and throwing out the GPU cores (for not apu models)(all cpu, who needs an integrate gpu?).
It uses new socket AM4, which gives directly pci-e (all the other connectors are given by an adapter southbridge).
For the purists it runs an auxiliar arm processor (security processor) that could encrypt ram if ask for virtual machines/os, this arm controller uses a non opensource firmware.
It will only support DDR4, and it seems that will be powerful even under 100W.

Yooka-Laylee has another trailer, featuring Shovel Knight

Sorry, but I need a working prototype to believe that is comming.
Sadly we have seen to many companies that promised linux version only to get the money, and we had never got anything.
But I think that we can have a hight hope for this (hopefully).

Check out this AMD video talking about Vulkan (and DirectX12)

Quoting: GoboIt is really sad that id never got around to officially port Doom 3 and Rage, so I doubt they will port the new Doom as well. I was wishing for the spirit of John Carmack to carry on at id, making them release source for example. And as pointed out yet again in this video: Vulkan support is enabled already, so the graphics department is most likely not the driving factor that keeps them from supporting other platforms.

Official doom3 support from id. Sadly you are right in Rage (and doom3 BFG edition).
