The alpha screenshots already look amazing!
I hope they will release this game on Linux as well.
If so, this is going to be a day one purchase.

One of my favourite games of all time.
I simply love the setting and the game is so well executed: the characters, visuals, music, the missions, it all comes together so nicely. One of the things I like most in Desperados is its AI. It's one of the very few games where the enemies actually react when one of their buddies goes missing.
I'm really looking forward for this updated version getting released on GOG.com.

I finished the game last night and I really enjoyed it. Originally I wasn’t interested in it because I don’t like the character art style. But apart of the characters I like the visuals and after reading all the positive critics I picked the game up nonetheless and again, I really enjoyed it.
The story isn’t very inventive but it works to keep the game going. The characters on the other side are real fun and the voice acting is top notch! That’s what I enjoyed most in the game.
The puzzles are fairly easy and straight forward. I used to play a lot of adventure games but these days I lose patience very quickly so I have to admit that I consulted a walkthrough two or three time to get on. But apart of one puzzle it wasn’t anything that I wouldn’t have figured out myself though if I had just spent more time thinking or trying things out.
I really hope we will see some more games from Backwoods Entertainment and Application Systems Heidelberg.
P.S. Other than the multi-tool still being shown as a hotspot after picking it up I didn’t encounter any serious bugs.

What are you playing on Linux this weekend and what do you think about it?

Me, I'm trying to make some progress in Pillars of Eternity, fighting my way through the Dyrford Ruins dungeons. But the Skaenite are pretty hard to beat when in groups, so I usually get frustrated rather quickly. Other than that I waste my time in Ballistic Overkill.

Quoting: liamdaweAfter that, likely more Phoenix Point, as they did recently release the Linux version of the backer build! Is the backer build available through Steam only or is there a direct download available as well?

Dang, it's out already? ^^
Just redeemed my key on GOG. But I haven't even finished the first one yet.
Now, I really need to take some time continue playing PoE.
Judging by the videos I saw so far PoE II looks gorgeous! I'm really looking forward to it.

I haven't finished the first one yet so I have no problem with waiting a little longer for PoE 2. I'm really looking forward to it though. Everything I've seen from it so far looks amazing.
