As long as it's fully playable via Proton, I don't have any problems with that.

I'm aware that maintaining native Linux games can be nasty for game devs.

Still it is not that much. Besides, most gamers sit on Tumbleweed instead which does not seem to have that kind of problems I guess.

We, Linux gamers, do not expect absolute commitment to create a native experience. We just need a declaration that they will not get in our way by blocking Linux like that clown Tim Sweeney or EA.

I like all those changes. KDE is an amazing piece of software ;)

As for the telemetry: as long as a certain project is open source and asks nicely, I always opt in for it. If they need more data, I am happy to provide it.
