Mesa 24.0 out now with AMD RADV ray-tracing improvements, more NVIDIA NVK improvements

A few weeks ago I read something about a new shader compiler for this Mesa update, with a small performance gain in some games. What happened with that?

Spec Ops: The Line gets delisted on Steam - you can still buy it elsewhere for now

For many it left a lasting impression
IMO one of the most overlooked games of its generation. Gameplay wise is just another cover shooter of the PS3/360 days, but it's masterfully written with morality and ethics of war right in the middle. The cherry on top is the soundtrack, a banger after another, and as you said, probably the reason of this delisting. It's sad seeing great games disappear.

This new Humble Bundle has some great Soulslikes

For years I completely forgot that you could adjust with sliders the amount of money for charity and the partner. Anyway, bought, If someone wants a key for Tails of Iron is still available, better gifted than collecting dust.

edit: gone

This new Humble Bundle has some great Soulslikes

This bundle looks awesome and I'm very close to finish The Survivalist, I'm thinking about getting it but I already have Tails of Iron, a lovely and very fun to play game btw. I want to gift the key here to someone who really wants to play it and not to someone who just want to satisfy his/her digital Diogenes syndrome.

Any tips/ideas/suggestions? :D

MONSTER HUNTER RISE adds new DRM that breaks it on Steam Deck (UPDATED)

Quoting: LoudTechieB. Capcom just had an unfortunate clash with its modder community and wants to beef up its defenses.
The creator of the Fluffy Mod Manager, a modding tool for some Capcom games, said that Enigma DRM don't interfere with mods unless it injects DLL.

Palworld is Steam Deck Playable and runs on Desktop Linux with Proton

Another Early Access to the queue! I haven't got Craftopia because is still EA.

I'm going to have a mental meltdown if I see more comments about Nintendo non sense, no more reading about this game until I decide to buy it.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered gets Steam Deck Verified

It's sad this remaster doesn't get a physical release, not even for Switch. But getting Deck Verified ahead of release is great, I'll probably buy it, the tank controls is what aged worst in these games and having an option to control the camera with the right stick is a good selling point.

AYANEO Next Lite with a customized SteamOS-like HoloISO fully revealed

Vega APU + 512Gb for the same price as the 256Gb Deck Oled? You have to hate SD's size/form to buy this one instead. As a software seller, no one will ever offer a balance in performance per dollar like Valve does.

What is weird is the HoloISO, why use it instead of contacting Valve?

Palworld is Pokémon with guns, farming, survival and building - I'm quite excited

Quoting: Liam DaweIt always strikes me as odd whenever there’s a monster catcher, people immediately wonder about Nintendo.
Me too and it doesn't happend with any other games/genre. When another "put 3 of the same together" game is released I don't read people saying to wait for the cease and desist from Taito. Some people think that the monster training genre belongs to Nintendo/Pokemon Company and they didn't even invented it.

League of Legends likely unplayable on Linux / Steam Deck soon due to Vanguard anti-cheat

Some friends asked me to join them in Valorant. I asked for a good reason to allow that game to be installed on my computer, none were given, that anticheat is a big no.

I haven't played League of Legends since the beta and I had no plans to do it, but I guess that's no longer an option.
