well dang! I have been on v2.17 forever cuz 2.18 broke EVERYTHING for me and I had to rollback. It conflicts with Steam open for some games, and controller goes crazy in the menu from time to time.

I may have to give 2.19 a try since "improved gamepad" would be a big deal.

I'm just under 100hrs in and am still loving it! My blueprint hunt has been very weird. I only have the weirdest stuff, none of the guns and parts that are helpful.😅

Hopefully, Embark gets to be the next poster child studio for Valve and the Steam Machine.

Definitely sounds like AMD is laying the groundwork for a forced upgrade path. Open source drivers wins again. My RX6600 is safe!

I have been LOVING The Finals on Linux, but I certainly worry about the future. I have been following ARC Raiders since the initial trailer so I can't help but pick it up. However, their unresponsiveness to your emails is also disappointing.... huge youtube creators campaign, interviews at twitchcon, but a popular press blog cant get any love?

Hopefully putting up some cash will help move the needle on some spreadsheet somewhere to show how powerful and passionate Linux gamers are/can be.

Denuvo is the last and also worst thing I thought they could do. I finished a script for a video idea about The Finals and ARC Raiders potentially being the next Linux darlings for the steam deck....

I really hope they dont mess this up.

I love that they include "tech journalists" as their target demo for this beta. I'm in love with CachyOS for now (with KDE, of course), but I will probably put this on a side pc so I can write some tech journals about it.
