ChimeraOS dev announced Kazeta, a new Linux OS aimed at recreating a classic console experience

I LOVE the idea, but I don't need ANOTHER wall of plastic with pretty game box art on it. Please let us put like 20 games on 1 SD card tho. The idea of having a cool rolodex filled with SD cards is fun, but a digital carousel is easier to manage and way more practical.

CARGO blends off-roading with an action-focused Mad Max like delivery sim

I mean.... Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars was too long a name too. They should just go with CAR[box]GO and call it a day. It looks pretty sweet, I just need a price and a Linux stamp of approval!

Anyone else play American/Euro Truck Sim and look over at the corner of the room thinking a truck mirror would be there....? Yeah, some head tracking software on linux might be helpful for me.

THE FINALS should be fixed again with the latest Proton Experimental updates

While it is SUPER annoying, I'm glad Embark actually makes an attempt at Linux testing. Sad that the bar is so low, but I'll take a little Linux win here and there.

I'm on CachyOS and there are specific instructions handed down from the mountain of Arch...
I have to follow the sacred tablets of "proton-cachyos" and now I'm afraid to mess with steam's proton check boxes.

THE FINALS broken on Linux - again

They have a good track record of fixing Linux issues and *trying* to keep their "1%" happy with relatively quick fixes when they update and break compatibility.

Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Apex Legends are all on the anti-linux side of the fence. You'd think the Finals devs would want to keep that 1% from complaining on social media (and huge niche websites dedicated to linux)?
The Linux Finals players are VERY loud (I might be one of them) and that 1% of the player base is probably a lot more than 1% elsewhere.

Battlefield 6 will be a unplayable on Linux systems due to the anti-cheat

Ive been a Battlefield fan since BF2 and BF2142. Sucks to see them go out like this (hearing they were trying to channel some Bad Company goodness in there was painful).

OH WELL!! Turns out Embark is the best thing to come out of DiCE. The Finals and ARC Raiders playing well with Linux should be a bigger deal...

Splitgate 2 now works on Desktop Linux with the anti-cheat updated

I was ready to be BIG mad at the devs for this one, but I will welcome Splitgate 2 back into the Linux Fold under probation. Surprisingly, it runs at a rock solid 120fps for me. Hopefully, they can work on their bug list and keep the Linux support intact.

Splitgate 2 gets a Beta on Steam, works on Steam Deck but not other Linux systems for now

I concur with the Frenchman. Clown shit, indeed.
Their first game worked natively in linux but the second game is steamdeck exclusive? That sounds less like a technical issue and more like a corporate "clown shit" issue. And the community is usually VERY loud about those.

Your game can have a diehard linux following or a really loud linux hate fest.... which turns from bad press to no press very quickly. So.... I had high hopes for this one and I'd like to see them turn it around, but I won't be surprised to see an "It is with an extremely heavy heart..." community post on Steam from them in a year.

Any one else remember Poly Pocket?
Very cool idea!
