Anyway to get KDE Neon in here somehow separated from Plasma? Or is that not really important enough?

This looks good. I have a friend at work that likes metal slug a lot and I told him I could find similar games to it on PC.

I'm at level 50, renown 5. Who holds the highest record for the most amount of monsters killed in the bottomless pit?
My last screen shot I was at 579 and I went for another few minutes so I think I got to around 650.
The 102mb update made the game not start on my KDE neon laptop with a gtx 960m so I zipped my logs and sent them in and this latest update fixed the problem.

Been playing this for a while now on my KDE Neon laptop with a gtx 960m with a logitech 710 controller. You don't get the levels automatically like aging, you have to press the back button on the controller or click L on the keyboard. I went 34 levels wondering when I was going to level and finally went to the forums and asked. I'm kind of done with the game. I am playing divinity original sin now.
What have you been playing recently and how is it?

Victor Vran, Forced showdown, Distance, PacMan 265. Shank 2 recently which on hdmi out from laptop to a 1080p screen ends up going weirdo after I quit game putting me into this small square in the upper left corner like it got resolution stuck. Victor Vran seems like a reskinned reworked torchlight 2 for guns. Distance, boy some of those community made tracks are hard.

I bought a new gaming laptop, with a gtx 960m on it. I erased windows 10 and installed KDE Neon on it. I also installed it on my previous laptop as a dual boot and was using KDE Neon on that almost always. On the windows side I had to install a GWX removal tool that I was lucky enough to stumble upon in order to remove all traces of windows 10 because Microhard doesn't listen to no means no.

Ok now I'm just waiting for my credit card refund to clear $483 plus shipping there and back. My gift car refund of $260 has already cleared.
I am going to buy my gaming machine. Right now it's a 3 way tie for me.
Amazon warehouse deals --
1) First this - https://amzn.com/B015PYYDMQ [External Link] at $699 open box
This is a Dell 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop (6th Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-6300HQ Processor up to 3.2GHz, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4gb gddr5
plus I just need to add this 2tb hdd https://amzn.com/B00I8O6OQ4 [External Link]
Pro's - I can wipe the OS and install Steam OS or more likely KDE Neon plus steam and Kodi (lets not get into a distro argument, that's the 2 I'm going to choose from) and load some games right away while I'm waiting for the hdd to get here.
I get my ssd configured right out the gate, comments say easy access to add ram and hdd and one guy says 9.5mm is perfect. I can bring this to work and show off linux and/or steam at lunch time. It is low power consumption so it does not catch attention from the landlords. Has display plus hdmi so I can game at work or away somewhere else and come home and hook it up to my 27" monitor. Using KDE connect that is pre installed in Neon I can use my phone as a mouse and my bluetooth earphones and I can watch hulu, netflix, youtube, etc.
cons: No steam controller but I already have logitech 710's and I think the controller is still on sale anyways.
2) The Zotac nen open box warehouse deal https://amzn.com/B01A4FLYSW [External Link] at $749 assuming my credit card refund clears tomorrow but I'll probably get it around a little over $700. Specs are Core i5-6400T Quad-Core NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 8GB Memory 1TB Hard Drive. Plus I will have to get this 250gb SSD https://amzn.com/B00TGIVZTW [External Link]
Pro's - It looks nice. It's low power. It has Steam OS already installed, well actually that is not really a pro because I don't want it on the HDD, I want the OS on the SSD plus I want a 2tb hdd not a 1tb or maybe I can get an external bigger one and enclosure and run that through the USB3.0 It has a steam controller with it. It's easier to move around in the bedroom compared to a laptop.
Cons - I have a feeling I'm not going to like the debian desktop.... but do I really need a desktop on it? I already have a laptop with integrated graphics with KDE Neon on it. Maybe I can just use that for watching videos. Last time i looked at it, it seemed like a little work was needed to get to the graphics card in case it gets jarred loose. The Zotac I just got and returned got shocked during shipping and lost connections on a lot - wifi, hdd light would not come on and I had to push down on them plus the graphics never came up so that tells me the graphics card also came loose because the guy says it was fine when he shipped it. This worries me that i will have to learn the whole insides of this thing if I bring it anywhere in my backpack I'll be worried. I've never had a laptop that was sensitive like that.
Interesting note: in comparing the 2 cpu's it says here that the Zotac one is replaceable
http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/285/Intel_Core_i5_Mobile_i5-6300HQ_vs_Intel_Core_i5_i5-6400T.html [External Link]
Imagine in the future Zotac contracts to make the Steambox in mass and puts an access panel for the graphics card and has clear easy instructions to replace both the cpu and gpu the same way they have the drives and ram?
3) Build this http://pcpartpicker.com/guide/gCKH99/great-gaming-build [External Link] minus the gtx 1070 wait until the 1060 comes out and buy it for $250 and in the mean time I have a spare gtx 750 just sitting here so I could install all my steam stuff while I am waiting.
Pros - everything
Cons - attracts negative attention from landlord. Previous tenant worked at home and drove the electricity up really high. Stationary.

So here you have a customer, me. I just bought a Zotac used once for $735 with added 8gb ram and I guess the guy didn't pack it right and it got shocked in shipping so I opened it and pressed down on all the connections and that got the wifi and HD light to come on but I couldn't get to the other side where the graphics card is as there was no signal coming out. So I just sent it back to him for a refund. I get my refund tomorrow on prime day. So now I have choices. Which one do I get.
1) Get the Zotac again but this time from amazon so if anything goes wrong they'll just replace it.
2) Get this Alienware steam machine you just listed (I kind of don't like it, that graphics card, the 1060 is about to come out for only $250)
3) Build my own following this http://tinyurl.com/jkr7uft [External Link] and wait for the gtx 1060 to come out.
4) Get this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PYYDMQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2L77EE7U53NWQ [External Link] with a 2.5 hdd added this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MPWYLHO/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1QGYAMZ8JLYH3 [External Link]
Oh wait just noticed that is 5400rpm hmm
If I get the laptop the purpose would be to show to friends at work at lunch time by placing various emulators on it that consoles are inferior to computers and then just have a few major steam games on it. Then I would build my own computer at a later date possibly better than that build but maybe not and I would play most of games at home on either Steam OS or Neon with steam installed.
5) Do something one of you suggests.
I don't want windows, I hate them for destroying Nokia and for r***** us with the windows 10 upgrade crap. I want a little bit of future proof.
