Well, i think i'll never stay away from epic then, thank you. I can´t even be bothered to even look at their freebies anymore.
People tell me AI will be everywhere, but then people tell windows is everywhere.

Damn, i have to get it then... i noticed three members of the critical role show in there (Matt Mercer, Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey) while playing the demo. So many games... no time. I'll end up like the "old" guy in this game. :)

You are absolutely correct! While i LOVED the Film (i tried to build those ships from cardboard and stuff), the series was awful. But i really jumped when i heard that Ron Moores version had an Adama played by the former boss of Tubbs and Crocket (my favourite Miami Vice character). And hell did he deliver. All of them, which must have been fantastic for Richard Hatch, who fought a long time to give this universe a proper end.

One reason i set up a murmur server for voice chat for me & my friends, but i totally failed to get my kids (and their friends) away from discord because eeeeveryone seems to use it. I personally really hate the UI, its confusing for me (hell its almost as bad as MS Teams!), but they dont seem to mind.
Daddy and his old worn-out privacy concerns. Sigh.

This was my main gripe so far. I just have played for 30 Minutes and did switch to the desktop after a few minutes, but with proper controls pre-configured, this could be a good game. I especially like the soundscape so far, i´ve got the vibes of Brigador (Soundtrack from Makeup and Vanity Set) or LORN. Nice.

Even as one hardcore mouse-and keyboard player with eyes getting old and blurry, i really love the steam deck. It melts into your hands like nothing else and i just like to hold it. Sure, many things are too small for me on that screen and i miss my keyboard, but i am old and not the reference user. The only thing i can find about it is the single usb-port thats solidly placed on the mainboard. The next revision would benefit from an easy replacable pcb with only that port on it.
But at this price? Hell yeah. Get it.
