Free to play action platformer MMO StarBreak released on Steam with Linux support

I've played this game a bit more after my comment on Discord and I believe it needs much more work to pull off its goals. It's a jumbled mess and it's really difficult to play with people you know. With some work it could be quite enjoyable, but at the moment all it seems to have going for it is that it's free.

Personally, I don't like their pay model. Seems like pay to win.

A new game by Sean to sink a ridiculous amount of time into. I'm a happy penguin.

Do gamepads work in Linux yet? Last I tried the game mine did not and the game is really difficult to control with a keyboard for me.

I have a F510 and I love it. It's pretty much the exact same gamepad except with vibration. A few games in Linux are still a bit broken as far as support goes, but it's getting there.

Quoting: ShabbyXNote: Andrew doesn't represent me.This is a really great idea and I hope others (who play Blizzard games) at least consider it.
That said, there _is_ a way to settle this. How about all of us who want a Linux client stop playing blizzard games for a few months, say from May 1, 2015 (or the release of Legacy of the Void, whichever comes first) to August 1, 2015, so the company can actually measure the impact?
I know it would be hard not to play, but we can make a point. If Blizzard observes a 2% decline in players and decides that it cannot care less, so be it. However, if they see a 10% decline and decide that's something they have to address, we may just see that Linux client developed.
If you are with me, please spread the word (otherwise the whole thing would be useless).

It's sad that even within the Linux user base there are people that can be that childish. Aside from that however, Blizzard stopped being relevant to me since they ruined the Diablo franchise. They can continue to pump money out of their WoW cash cow for all I care and I'll continue to play games that I enjoy and run natively on my chosen OS.
