I'm actually at the last world of Outland, but I see what you mean. The last world adds another kind of challenge that to me feels kind cheap and not very satisfying. I don't really want to throw in the towel now that I've gotten this far though.

Great review. :) Will definitely check this one out for my next "metroidvania fix" once I'm done with Outland. I'm not completely sold on the upgrades, but I'm keeping an open mind.

Yeah, I'm pretty amazed by this game. Like sub wrote, it is a real gem.
I've played more than 5 hours now, and I've still only cleared three full areas plus a couple of special levels. The game is damn hard.

I hadn't even heard of this game, but it looks interesting for sure. Reminds me a lot of Rochard [External Link], which is a great 2.5D puzzle/action platformer.

We covered it briefly at the end of TFC #44 and it's one we really wanted to see get funded. Unfortunately that didn't happen, but it's great to hear they haven't given up on the game, and that they aim to support Linux.

You used to be able to change that from your account after purchase, but I couldn't find that when I looked earlier. Did they remove that option?
