Steam Officially Starts Allowing Paid Mods In The Workshop, People Are Upset
24 Apr 2015 at 3:06 pm UTC

Quoting: SamsaiGG (or at least parts of it) are against corruption in games journalism and paid-for mods are hardly a journalism ethics issue.
Neither is diversity in games or feminism in general, and yet that seems to be their main concerns.

Action Platformer Slinki Released On Steam, A Demo Is Available
21 Apr 2015 at 12:40 pm UTC

Quoting: GuestHey, one of Slinki's devs here. Just wanted to let you know that the demo present on Desura is outdated. The steam version of the game features better graphics, some redesigned levels and other extra content. We are preparing a new demo to be available next week, or so ;)
Hope you enjoy the game
Thanks for letting us know. Will the new demo be available both on Desura and Steam?

Quoting: TazXNice article. I'll be following your reviews, since your favourite games correspond so well with mine. Have you checked out Glare yet?
Thanks. :) No, I haven't tried Glare yet. I bought it a couple of months ago, but have forgotten about it. Looks very neat.

Let us know what you think when you've had a chance to try it.

I actually got the full game from a reader of GOL on Steam. I don't think they're registered here, but thanks again for the games if you are. :) This game didn't capture me enough to make me want to play it exclusively, but I'll probably keep playing it in between other things.

Quoting: GuestThe best MarioKartLike game is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, i pray to spaghetti monster every day for a Linux port.
Yeah, I have it on Wii U and I really like that one too. This one looks pretty interesting though.

Outland, A Fast-paced, Dynamic Platformer Now Available On Linux
17 Apr 2015 at 8:14 am UTC

Outland is one of the weeklong deals on Steam and is currently 75% off. I've played a bit of it, and I love it so far. My only complaint is that you can't rebind keyboard controls, and can only choose between two pre-defined layouts. Neither of which lets you put the action controls on the left side of the keyboard, which makes being able to move with arrow keys pretty pointless.

I haven't played any of his brother's games, but I've heard good things about them. They're both very talented for sure.

It's also personally one of my favorite games of all time
This bit to me says it isn't a recent/new game.
Really hoping for C&C generals ZH, but I asked them earlier this year if they are porting it to Linux and they said it will never happen through aspyr.
You watch it be an old COD game or some thing.
Yeah, I asked them about Generals too. It's not my favourite of the C&C games, but still a very good game, and it would be great to have it available for Linux.

Quoting: autonomouseMagicka?
If anyone's porting Magicka, my money would be on flibitjibibo – not all hands at Aspyr.

Of course I will not be giving it away (wild speculation is too much fun), but lets just say its a game that has been asked for literally thousands of times. It's also personally one of my favorite games of all time.
Sounds like Dishonored or Beyond Good & Evil.
