Total War: Shogun 2 & Fall of the Samurai released for Linux, port review and thoughts

Well this is a first for a Feral release, I got as far as the red Samurai falling flat on his face with a terminal dose of arrows in the back & my entire system froze up leaving me with just a mouse pointer stuck in the middle of the screen.

No crash log to be found anywhere. :(

Actually I'm wrong, it's £39.99 on Steam, £10 cheaper than buying it in a box with DVD.

GAME want's £49.99 for the game, £20 more than Feral are asking for it, from what I just read they're charging the extra for 3 player character skins & the soundtrack.

I'm repeating myself for the third time already. I'm not asking about DRM minded publishers, I'm asking why Feral choose to port only games from such.
Probably because they're the ones who make the most money.

How many Feral ports are for games that have been available on GOG as Windows only games? If the answer is None you have your reason why Feral only offer Steam keys.
I don't really understand what you mean. As far as I know, none of games that Feral ported have any version on GOG.
That was my point, none of the games they've ported have been on GOG because the Windows versions weren't on GOG either, the original developers/publishers only use Steam to release their games so it makes sense that the Feral ports only exist on Steam.

Made to Wade = Warhammer 40k 3, Space Marines are made just to wade through the blood of their enemies. Makes perfect sense.

I would put myself forward to help test but current events in my offline life (in the last 24 hrs) mean I just don't have the time to do it justice. I'll just buy it when you release. :D
