Quoting: grahfgamesthe GC version port would be nice considering it is stuck on that platform.
As far as I know, even if the Nintendo content in it was removed, Konami may not fully own the rights to that remake (it seems to be up in the air whether or not the developer, Silicon Knights, holds any ownership of that version of the game), so I get the feeling that it might stay stuck there, unfortunately.

Quoting: grahfgamesNow what about MGS4 - that terribly needs a re-release/remaster.
There might be some hope for that [External Link]! It would appear that a second Master Collection volume may already be in the works.
Yeah since Silicon Knight's dissolution who knows hey. As in regards to MGS4, I really hope so - I didn't recently play through it again through the ps3 emulator at 60fps (not consistant - but mostly) but it did crash every hour or so. So I would really love that even if they don't do any texture or asset updates.

The MGS1 and 2 PC ports back in the day were a mess - especially MGS2 - it would refuse to run on AMD cards properly without a bugfix. I look forward to these being rectified. I hope we get a choice of the MGS1 original and remake - the GC version port would be nice considering it is stuck on that platform.

MGS3 will be nice to play on PC. I've even played the port to the NVIDIA shield - unfortunately though the DRM on that one requires a constant connection which is infuriating.

Now what about MGS4 - that terribly needs a re-release/remaster.

Steam Deck compatibility with Starfield to be discussed "later down the road"

It will use just an updated version of their terrible GameBryo engine I suspect with an updated renderer, etc. I'd say it would work out of the box. Never been a fan of Bethesda's in-house games - they are a mess. That and I hate them as a company with their terrible anti consumer practices and what they do to their own contractors - ala "Mick Gordon" who did Doom. Without him the game would have never been as popular without his amazing work.
