I wonder if they could create an intel+nvidia custom chip board? Price would surely be through the roof, though.
This said, Nvidia displayed an arm based with RTX gaming laptop, couple of years ago. It was running an arch based os, if I remember correctly.

Quoting: CatKillerQuoting: MohandevirNvidia based Steam Deck 2? 🤔Nvidia don't have an x86 licence, so they can't make a chip that's GPU and x86 CPU in one like Intel & AMD can. The handheld Nvidia can do would be ARM - and the Nintendo Switch is exactly an Nvidia/ARM handheld.

Battlefield V now broken on Steam Deck / Linux with EA anticheat live

Reading these comments could make you believe that UE4 and Epic's EAC are garbage. If that's the truth, Good job Epic!

Quoting: Jarmersounds pretty much run of mill these days for a ue4 release. I basically have to look up all the games on wikipedia and check to see what engine they are running. UE4 is almost guaranteed to have awful performance with tons of stuttering.
Quoting: theHoneyBadgerI heard a rumor today that Apex Legends will be getting this new AC within the next month or two, after the whole hacking debacle during the big competition they had recently. EAC has washed their hands of EA at this point, so the writing is basically on the wall.

I was affraid I would not be able to play Jedi Survivor before they decide to put EA anticheat into it too... Turns out this game is a mess, performance wise. I ended up uninstalling it after a couple of hours of play, because there is no computer on the face of our planet that can run it without major stuttering issues. I regret buying it in the first place and with this news, I won't buy an EA game again.

Well said. Starting a business just to make money is not a good reason. You have to put your soul and believe in your product or what you offer. More often than not, privately owned businesses are offering much more value to the customer than any publicly traded companies; they are must less prone to be veered away from their initial goals by greedy investors who don't care about the mission and just want a quick buck.

Looking forward to a patch for Witcher 3 (DX12). Can't access the glossary menu without crashing the game and SteamOS, since Proton 8.5. I must use Proton-8.17-GE.
It's happening on my Steam Deck and my all AMD PC running Holoiso or Bazzite. No problem when launched from desktop. It seems to be related to gamescope.
