Where are you going to put this Calendar?
Will it have a link on the main bar (DONATE, SALES, WIKI, etc.)? Cause IMO this feature deserve visibility and "stickness"

Quoting: liamdaweI have added a link in the calendar's link and description fields, so hopefully that will work and get people going were they want to go for more info on each game.Yo Liam
Don't know how it will look as my google cal hasn't updated yet, but I checked and it's a valid ical still, so depends how clients display them.

GoL is hands down the best Linux site there is, just sayin'.
Awesome addition Liam!
I can foresee a future in which Liam and GoL will be worshipped for how innovating the GoL's concept was (Is).
This is the first site that works just like the OS we love, collaboratively.
Keep being awesome GoL, we'll grow with the linux gaming community and hopefully in the future we'll be a godamn monster.
Peace!

Remember bros that this game was highly criticized for its DLC policy.
If you don't like companies that milk the player with DLC beware

Hum I guess it is more complicated than I expected.
Buyers protection is indeed a valid concern.

Market behaviour is not a warranty that anybody won't buy overpriced mods, no.
It means that after a period of time ppl will learn to analyze what they are buying (look for reviews and opinions before buying).
Is this obligatory? I don't think that's a correct assumption to be made.

There is no guarantee that allowing developers to charge for their mods will give us all better mods. However, it does guarantee that mods which were once free will now carry a price tag.Let's disagree then.

I like the idea really, there are games which community doesn't want them to die but they do cause the companies can't make money flow anymore.
With this initiative now the game's community will decide when a game is going to die (Which is AWESOME). Games like Neverwinter Nights wouldn't be dead if this policy were implemented back in the day.
IMO everything else has less importance. Publisher, Developers and community will make it work and solve the other problems. The idea per se is great.
Plus, let the free market decide if paying is ok! You can see a mod and say "bleh" doesn't worh it. But I bet you've already seen mod's that are "zomfg!!1!".
So let the quality of the mods and the community willingness to pay decide which content deserve to be bought and which doesn't.
Cheers.

There's no miracle, even with if Microsoft screwing Windows 10 I don't believe in a drastic change in short term. PPL will use the OS that is pre-installed on their machine and that's all.
But if valve and other companies start doing awesome engines (unity5, unreal4, source2) which support "all" OSes, I guess we could at least count that they won't have much cost.
Forcing the cost to something next to Zero is our big victory for now. All the adoption will come in time and, maybe with Steam Machines.

Makes no money, but costs no money either.I guess that's the more important thing for now. Numbers can come in time.

I'll rather fight ppl's attitude than their nationality. I've managed to play fun games without 100% communication with some Argentinians and struggled playing the game with my countrymen.

Region locking is a bad idea per se. It's unpopular and it doesn't solve the problem. That's all I have to say about this matter. Let's disagree.
In DOTA2 even if I'm able to communicate with English I'll rather play in brazilian servers with ppl speaking portuguese, that's natural.
