Quoting: PoliticsOfStarvingDoes anyone know what it's like to use one of these handhelds with no touchpads? How are games like Monkey Island?Try playing a point and click adventure with your mouse, but move it exclusively with the palm of your hand. Other than sticks, ScummVM offers touch controls. Good to have, but I'm not a huge fan if a mouse or a touchpad is available.

It varies, probably not for long if they stocked 4.5 units.

This reads as Valve asking for a quote regarding RAM and NVMe, and getting the middle finger instead. And taking it. Concerning, to say the least.
Unless this is a bizarre attempt to subsidise Steam Machines those are basically DOA at this point.

I would've enjoyed sightseeing in Yotei at some point, but it's not enough of a draw to make me buy the hardware. A handful of mostly unremarkable exclusive games per generation means 'see ya in 20 years!' if that.
Overcorrection.

I agree this needs to be regulated. The industry has become firmly anti-consumer.

Quoting: LachuI think there should be only putting text: „We can block to ran this game at all without reasons at any time”. That's what should be enough. People would not buy right to play this kind of game if they read this text and do not agree.I doubt it'd work if they added they could also legally shoot you if you complain about it.

But. This use I like.
Anyway, back to media people/reviewers treating the items they receive for review as personal gifts which is then used by the manufacturer for marketing purposes.

Quoting: Linux_RocksI agree with (uhhh) CatKiller. It just rips me right out of the movie. I bet it's... Actually no, it can't even be fun putting that into a movie at this point, it's completely played out. It's one thing if a particular sound from a particular library gets a ton of use as these things happen organically, but deliberately putting a particular sound in? Just. Stop. Already.Quoting: CatKillerI had to Google Baby Shark. I guess this is like how my one friend hates "DJ Airhorn" or whatever. lolQuoting: Linux_Rocksbut_why.gifImagine Baby Shark, for example, had been stuck in a significant chunk of all films, TV programs and computer games for 75 years because it's "funny." How would you feel the next time you heard Baby Shark?

The way these AAA projects tend to go these days we'll see what's the take on AI on the 3rd game director when the team is on the second project restart and crunching 7 days a week to make 2032 and not get the studio closed even before the day 1 patch.
Not something I wish on the devs, but this is a bold statement that's smack in the middle of the honeymoon stage of development. Yeah, sure.
