That theme music to adventures of a cat in space really is catchy, and it's a very charming game
Tried a game called Scaravan 66, it's a rouge-like vehicular combat game, had alot of fun with that one too

This reminds me I really need to play through the remastered collection I have sitting in my steam library, which is meant to be really good
It's honestly quite refreshing how pro-consumer ea seems to be when it comes to c&c, someone high up at ea must REALLY like c&c lmao

I'd love to see specific mention of couch co-op when mentioning these sort of games, as someone not into online gaming but always looking for some friendly couch co-op 😀
Tribes of Midgard and Across the Obelisk seem to be online co op only
It's a shame that less games take local multiplayer into account, especially on pc where some companies think we only play at a desk *cough* diablo 4
Yes as we all know only consoles have hdmi output

@dibz
Yeah you're not wrong and gets me thinking how hard this could be, especially when different distros might put files in different places. Would make it very hard to auto-scan for games with how the file system works
Even if it takes more initial setting up, if the gui works as smooth as it does on windows I'd be happy
Those talking about htpc, I've been using my pc on a sofa in front of a TV for about 3 years now.. I use a keyboard/touchpad combo (logitech k400) and honestly never used my controller to navigate or launch games, and works great.. though you might have to run a usb extension cable so the receiver can actually pick it up

Also I hope it includes something like lutris support as lutris is handy alone for its community installers, currently I use lutris to help install games then add them on heroic and using heroic as my main launcher

This is so exciting!
I recall seeing the dev on reddit few years back saying he'd look into possible linux support
This would be fantastic, I've wanted playnite on linux for a LONG time now, playnite is awesome

@Ehvis
Also I suppose have to ask, who's responsibility is it? Epic or the game developers, maybe abit of both? There's definitely some UE4 games that don't have shader stutter if the developers make it a priority, or at least minimise it
And even if shader stutter wasn't a thing, there's still things like traversal stutter and the constant streaming of assets that has been a hindrance too, bring back loading screens!

Is there any improvements? Steam reviews imply it's just the same games
Already have sims 1 and 2 installed and running fine so don't see need for me to buy this
