In case you missed it, lego voyagers recently released (split fiction like).
Picked that one up on release :)

And yeah agree it's very like split fiction with it's focus on working together!

Split-Fiction has been my favourite game to come out of 2025, just finished it today with my partner

Runs great, and is even better then it takes-two, it's really refreshing to play a game like this in 2025, so many unquie and fun set pieces, twists and turns. I really wish more games like this were made today!

GOG definitely has its benefits, when DMC HD collection hit gog I bought it straight away, I didn't like how capcom retroactively fitted drm into some of their old games on steam

I used them as my main store front for around 2 years but find myself coming back to steam, some games end up not getting updates on GOG

Also overall steam is better when it comes to linux, including better support for native linux games

I'll still always love GOG just for offline installers, and I think double dipping when games are dirt cheap is worth it

I can buy Thief from gog right now for £1.58 and even though I already have it on steam, it's nice to have that offline installer and backed up for a "just in case" scenario, especially when it comes to games you might particularly cherish

Not played it in years but remember having a really fun time playing online mp with a steam friend

Might have to pick it up again when I get my lcd deck for Christmas, I thought it might be bad for the deck due to small text but steam page says it's verified which includes legible text:)

I remember trying this game with a controller very briefly though and it was horrible compared to kb/m, trackpads might make it better on deck but its very kb/m orientated with all the little menus and item management ect

Aspyr have indefinitely delayed Deus Ex Remastered

I have no nostalgia for deus ex because I've never played it but even in the trailer I was thinking the remastered graphics looked bad

The only aspyr game I've played is the TR1-3, games I have very fond nostalgia for

And while it was passable, it still looked odd to me especially the dynamic shadows around lara croft would move very rapid/unnaturally

These things need fine attention to detail, and nightdive have set a high bar in that regard

That's not to say nightdive are perfect, I certainly noticed ai path-finding issues from time to time on doom 1+2 but they certainly put alot more TLC into their remasters then aspyr

The RAM price and availability situation is going to worsen as Micron pull their Crucial consumer business

Quoting: TightRope
Quoting: ChuckaluphagusI've bought Crucial RAM for decades, and quite a few Crucial SSDs over the past fifteen years. A shame to see it go.
I have bought Crucial products for decades and they were always reliable. Too bad I will have to switch to another brand.
How many people will go back to Crucial when the bubble finally bursts and they need real customers? This is probably a bad long term business decision.
Yeah I was thinking how I've always liked their products, I have a few crucial ssd

But when/if they come back into consumer market it will make me think twice about my purchase

According to Epic CEO Tim Sweeney - game stores don't need an AI label as it will be everywhere

Amazon cut around 14,000 jobs.. the roles were stuff like "human resources, operations, and devices, with some media and communications roles"

Amazon cited "the need to be organized "more leanly" and seize opportunities presented by ai"

This is the answer I got from google ai overview lol, maybe I need to practise what I preach

Then there's deep fakes and it's moving quite rapidly, ai was obviously fake few years ago but it's improved alot and will continue to improve, when any video of a corruption politician or criminal could be passed off as "fake" or "fake news" as certain people like to call it

Then there's the fact of how much water and electrict needed for the ai, remember that next time your energy bills go up!

Nightdive Studios present a Blood: Refreshed Supply deep dive in a new video

I'm still surprised it wasn't just free to fresh supply owners

Was fresh supply that bad? Never played it back in the day but had a good time playing online co-op with a steam friend on fresh supply and it seemed to work just fine?

I think this is meant to be based on the original code, but even then between fresh supply and things like eduke and raze, I don't really see why I'd want to buy this

I was wondering if this would happen after it went on sale in October

I'm tempted but I really wanted the oled model, as it sounds like an amazing upgrade. Not just the display but battery life, better WiFi ect

That said I've wanted a steam deck for years and this is a great bargain, I'm just so indecisive and kind of want to wait until I can afford the oled model
