Have to say I think the remasters of TR 1-3 are a tad disappointing and I'm glad I waited
I found the remastered graphics somewhat off-putting, laras shadow seems to switch from dynamic to blob shadow on the fly, and the dynamic shadows just look really weird to my eye
That aside the graphics look pretty nice and faithful, apart from it looking overly dark in some areas
These are more nit-picks but what's really annoying is that the camera behaves differently.
It's not a bad/terrible remaster but it's certainly not up there with the sort of stuff nightdive have done

Varies from game to game
'F.E.A.R platinum' for instance had some changes made
"Update (20 March 2025)
Limited FPS to 60 (configurable), ensuring smoother performance.
Fixed duplicated FileTasks, resolving potential conflicts.
Validated stability.
Verified compatibility with Windows 10 and 11."
Where as some like the one you mention, they seem to just load the game up on W10/11 and say "yup, that works ok"
Their total disregard for linux is a big shame though, even the native linux games they do sell, some of them can have missing libs and stuff where as on Steam they include a set of commonly used libs.
So it some ways I'm not too bothered about native linux games on gog when they don't maintain them anyway

Be interesting to see the work coalition has done with UE5 since obviously they do know their way around the engine being ex-epic employees

This will still be really cool to see on linux even with us already having mangohud
It will be especially helpful for new-comers to linux. More plug and play the better!

More capcom games on gog the better imo, especially when they had started randomly adding drm to some of their older titles on steam
Hope we get DMC5 on gog too, just picked up HD collection as wasn't a big fan of 4, with dmc3 being my favourite and first one I ever played :)
I know what I'm going to be playing today

I've dug out an old dp to vga adapter I had, which helped me get around the fact wayland doesnt play nice with analogue signal
I've also switched to wayland experimental on linux mint cinnamon just to see how the experience goes, and this is on my partners old uni laptop with very modest specs (dual core, i5-5200u 2.20ghz) so it will be interesting to see how bad the overhead is with xwayland
It's a shame they're ditching x11 support, for someone like myself the favourite thing about linux is bringing new life into old hw. Hw prices are going up and its important people can still make sure of older hw!
Suppose there's always things like xubuntu to fall back on, but as it stands the main debian distros run great on extremely modest hw at the moment.

Yeah I agree with that kurcatovium
Now you've said that makes me think they should focus on their preservation program they've recently started doing
That's far more important, making sure the games they're selling work correctly
