Quoting: MarlockGiven how Valve handled theSteam Controller (releasing 3d printing blueprints for replaceable plastic parts to the general public), maybe all of this can become true.Yeah, but maybe it will be possible to 3D print some parts yourself :)
Of course, the process of changing the husk on a controller is likely a million times easier than doing it with a complete handheld pc... but hey, people do fix and replace smartphone parts, so let's see what they'll say on iFixIt... as long as it's not all glued up, modders should be happy

Everspace alone is worth this one, but sadly it looks like Everspace2 is diverting significantly from the rogue-like formula that made the first one remarkable. Lets see...

Linux support is ofc nice. But that "AI" software... if the enemy AI in the Aquanox reboot is the best it can do, I rather have something else :(

Ah, I already suspected the thumb-sticks being somewhat touch sensitive based on their look. This is definitely a very cool improvement over the Steam controller.

A pity that with the Unity3D dependency the source-code is basically useless...

Played it a bit... but those people being matched with me seem to be really bad console players or fake bots? I am by no means a good FPS player (average at best), but immediately being the best player on the first game to ever play feels... dunno fake?

Hmm... given that Valve already does cooperate with Netflix on some things, I wonder if there is any link there. While Valve would probably be able to make their own cloud streaming service (utilizing servers from someone like AWS or IBM/RedHat), they have so far been quite reluctant to do so and I think they have realized that their customer base doesn't want "yet another streaming subscription service" (like they don't want "yet another exclusive game store").
So short of not entering this market at all, maybe they just say... lets make a cooperation with Netflix? Seems like a good partner as they don't compete with Valve otherwise and they already have the servers and customers.
