I hope there will be a nice mini PC (Zotac or Brix or so), with a Polaris10 and a AM4 socket Bristol Ridge APU as a launch system. Since the Bristol Ridge APU has nearly the same watt usage as the Zens that will come out later this year, it would be an smooth upgrade as both use DRR4 and AM4.

Quake in cardboard VR: www.quakevr.com
Also got "Freaking Meatbags" dirt cheap on steam, and it is a pretty cool pixel tower-defense, RTS, gene-splicing kind of game that runs great on Linux.
Convoy is also fun, but didn't give me a long term motivation to play.
Battlestation Harbinger is cool if you are looking for a mobile game.

Just a general note: It's mostly open-source, but the audio assets and the story/gameplay scripts are not. Still a great pool of open source assets though.
It's just such a shame that this never really took off in open-source development. Sure, it got some improvements and works quite well on modern systems... but it's still essentially the same game with little custom made content or alternative open-source game servers etc.
I guess it is mainly due to the fact that it is just sooo outdated by today's standards that improving it in your free-time seems like an uphill battle :( Maybe a Android port and a VR version would help, as for those the relatively low-spec requirements actually help getting a larger community intersted.

Would have been interesting to also see the Android figures, as many people probably only played in on a mobile device (its a bit simplistic for a desktop game).

I hope this gets an easy Ubuntu Phone export option.
@adolson, yeah Godot is great, but not for HTML5 export right now.

Quoting: STiATHopefully they'll learn out of this, I can spare the few bucks for their training on how to properly plan the financing of a product.Yes that would be great, however the article linked sounds more like they see themselves as innocent victims of an internet mob... which makes it seem unlikely that they learned anything :(
Hand of Fate is a brilliant game, you should really give it a go on Linux & SteamOS

Edit: this game is also a single-player game only, in case that wasn't clear.
I was a bit disappointed how little deck-building matters in the game... after a short while I always just when with the automatic recommended deck because the overall randomness of events and the action oriented fights really outweighs any cool deck you could build.
Overall its a cool and innovative game, but as others I am sort of half way through and don't feel particularly motivated to continue playing.

Quoting: Mountain ManSo is this a collectible card game like Heroes of the Storm where you have to buy dozens of "booster packs" to stay competitive? Or is everything included for one price?Everything included in the price, the "booster-packs" you get are rewards for completing certain events. No micro-transactions what so ever in the game.

Here on a totally plain Nvidia/Intel Ubuntu box it ran like shit and had all sorts of UI issues. In fact TITANS didn't work at all when it came out (and I didn't bother with it again).
So no... their Linux version was a bad joke :(

Quoting: coolboberPlanetary Annihilation is a title that I enjoy really a lot. I don't have this Black Screen crashes.Except that you are one of the lucky few that could actually play the game without issues.
At the end... I respect Planetary Annihiltion cause they promised Linux version and this version was almost from very beginning, not like some other games like eg. Skullgirls.
