Feral Interactive Looking To Hire Linux Developers

The more new games that can be released/ported to Linux the more people will see that their is profit in the Linux market. As porting older games isn't a good way to indicate profit. Needing more developers I think is a sign that the Linux market is doing good.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues, First Impressions On Linux

This game is on my list to keep an eye on it as it seems to have a lot of promise going for it. I just hope they can follow through on their vision for the game (as a lot of games fail at that part).

From The Depths, A Sandbox Game About Building Battleships Now On Linux

Quoting: nitroflowThis seems pretty much like the free to play robocraft, but on water and less polished.
While they are similar the building in From The Depths is on a much larger scale and they put a lot more work on the physics. I just hope the devs hurry up with getting a better UI as I find their placeholder UI dreadful.

Quoting: morbiusGuys, it's Spore, published in 2008 by EA. I wouldn't mind having that game in my Steam library.
I too am thinking it's spore.

The Witcher 2 Has A New Beta For Linux, The Improvements Are Staggering

I hope the progress made will entice other games developers to use these wrappers for their older titles so that we can get some of the older games (Skyrim, etc.) on Linux as well. Obviously I don't want this to be a substitute for porting games natively to Linux but I wouldn't mind developers using this as a cheaper alternative for porting their older games to Linux.

Say what you want about wrappers but at least these developers are committed to making a quality product.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel New DLC ‘Lady Hammerlock The Baroness Pack’ Lands On Linux

TPS was a big flop for me personally as I hated the fact that all the areas had very repetitive looking environments. So I still play BL2.

Storm United, Online FPS Shows First Real Game-play Video, First Alpha Due Soon

It's interesting but I want to see the team play aspects... I don't like the call of duty run and gun lone wolf style/formula. I want good team play... So I hope they showcase that in some other videos.

Quoting: Stupendous ManBioshock. I haven't played it, but from the few YouTube videos I've seen of it, the style is very similar to the above picture.
Style is similar, but I don't think so. I don't remember that scene, and the textures are nicer.
The textures are better because that's a real life photo... Not a screenshot from a game.

Aspyr Media Are Close To Breaking Even On Linux Ports

I find it very good to hear that they are going to break even given that most of their ports are of games that have been out for over a year.
