I wouldn't be surprised if all that extra money went to paying everyone more money (not saying that's bad), but if it only took 150k to get the dlc... then they could have done a lot more useful things for the game with the extra money.

Garry's Mod Hits the 6 Million Mark!

I bought this like many years ago and at that time I didn't even know Linux existed (been using Linux for about 2 years now). So I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were windows/mac users when they originally bought Garry's Mod as it's almost been out for like 8 years.

I've never been too interested in their previous titles, but this is something I'm interested in... So I really hope it works for them. It looks like it's a very ambitious step for them as an MMORPG is a very big task. Plus as of right now I am not aware of any MMORPG's for Linux.

As much as I hate this news... I can't really blame notch and mojang for accepting the offer.

The art style of almost all double fine games turn me off, and this game is no exception. I also don't find the game mechanic interesting, but it is very unique in it's own right.

I personally get turned off by this being a MMO. I usually like to play these types of games either alone or with a group of friends (otherwise you sometimes get griefers). I mean indie devs have never really been good at having a big multiplayer communities for their multiplayer only games. So unless they change their focus from MMO to single/multiplayer I can't say I'm too interested in this.
On a side note I'm surprised I haven't seen an article showing that a free early access game on steam called Robocraft has just added Linux support.

Feral Interactive Wish To Know Why You Game On Linux

Linux is like grilling a burger... You can season it just the way you like it, put your favorite cheese on it or have no cheese, add your favorite condiments, and at the end you have a burger you love more than any other burger.
Microsoft's Windows (any version) is like a burger from a fast food joint... You have to pay more for what you get, you get what they make you, you don't always get the condiments you like, the maker doesn't really care about the burger... only that it sells, and at the end of the day everyone it trying to make you eat this burger.
That is why I choose Linux over Windows and would like to fully replace Windows with Linux for all gaming instead of just most gaming.

Looks cool but this isn't a rogue-like. If anything it's either a rogue-lite or just a 2D action game. I really wish people and developers would stop using the term "rogue-like" for games that actually are not rogue-likes. Either way it looks cool/fun enough to support.
