You can use ProtonUp-Qt to add Luxtorpeda into Steam, then select it via the Compatibility tab for X-COM and it will let you pick OpenXcom Extended to run it with. Tracks playtime correctly too. Nice!Just tested it and it took only a few seconds to set up. I was not aware this is possible, amazing!

I quite liked it! The setting is very unique. While you're at it, check out the dev's previous game, too - Vision Soft Reset (a time-loop Metroidvania).

Like it says in the article, it's not PayPal but their acquiring bank (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acquiring_bank [External Link]). I only learned yesterday that there are more middlemen skimming off the top. A huge mess.

I've had the unfortunate experience of software being sold to new owners several times and in most cases it was for the worse, once I even lost all my data when the Aegis 2FA app on iOS wanted to push people towards subscription right after buying it and bungling the code. In my mind I blame the original authors as much, though, because there's no way they didn't know who they're selling it to.
