Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam Deck is 'absolutely wild' and aims for 30FPS on Medium

Quoting: garrettlChoosing Vulkan directly didn't work, but I didn't try experimental or GE yet, just the latest version of standard Proton 8.
I ran the Vulkan rev on my now ancient Geforce 970ti using both the latest Proton-GE, and Experimental, and it worked fine. I believe the developers would prefer people use Vulkan to play the game, but from my, admittedly unscientific very half-assed experimentations, I didn't notice much of a difference in quality or performance.

You know it.

It wasn't lava though. It was snow. Lava would've a bridge too far.

You had a WHOLE paper bag? When I was real young, all we had was an old stick covered in mud with a single pixel stuck on the end.

Quoting: slaapliedje...that'd be 640x800 resolution for each player.
Back when I was a kid, we got 320x240 if we were LUCKY, and we loved it! All the pixels were the size of your fist, but we didn't know any better. We just thought the world looked chunky.

Quoting: ElectricPrismI would buy several commercial tools right now if they were available starting with Affinity Photo 2 -- it was my understanding some people got it running in Bottles a few months back.
I was a part of that thread over on the Affinity forums.

Yeah, we got one of the last pre 2.0 releases to run in Bottles, but it wasn't exactly what I'd call a smooth experience. Between the flickering canvas, and the constant crashes, I'd say it's one step above "...well, at least we got it to boot."

Quoting: lukas333Didn't know about CULTIC, is it that good?
I liked it. I didn't think it quite reached the level of Dusk, which is my favorite of the recent boomer shooters, but it is fun.

I'm now officially converted to the RGB LED religion and OpenRGB is amazing

I wouldn't laugh about this, people. I have a friend who fell for this religion hard, and now he puts LED lights on everything around his house. All his computers look like French whorehouses!
