The way I played PoE was to set it to pause after everyone made their moves in a round, then give them new commands. I called it liar's RTwP.

Why can't they create an AI spin and call it FedorAI?Because puns make some people unreasonably angry, and they probably get enough death threats as is.

...but after the ai update, I'll never consider it for anything ever again.Given the amount of backlash they're seeing over it, I imagine they'll have changed tact by the time Fedora 44 comes out.

I'm a bit torn on it myself. I love the look and feel of it, and the premise is really neat, but the camera really isn't the best fit for a driving game.
I'll buy it at some point, but I'll probably wait for a sale before I do.

The camera is locked at a bizarre isometric side angle that changes randomly as you drive along but is NOT controllable by the player. It didn't bother me too much, but I did play Micro Machines as a kid...

Deck Wizard released a video of the game running Linux native. Unfortunately, Mangohud doesn't work on the native build, so it's hard to say exactly how well it's running, but you can still tell the experience is much improved from watching the video.
I'd say it's probably holding around 28-30 FPS with the occasional hiccup.
