GRID Autosport Tested on R7 370 4G

@ Samsai:

Your Grid profile should be "Samsai, the flying finn". You know, as one of many flying finns... I was a great fan of Mika Häkkinen back in the late 90's and early 00's. :)

That one should be an insta-win. LOL

I really hope that does not hurt them too bad and they can solve that out rather sooner than later.

But besides that, this piece of news made my day :D

Alien: Isolation Officially Confirmed For Linux, Releasing On September 29th

Quoting: edve98But really, it is weird that it won't support AMD cards. The change log was the thing that pretty much confirmed it is coming to Linux.
That's their punishment for breaking NDAs... ;P
Let's see if the game runs with radeonsi. I only (reluctantly) use Catalyst for a handful of games (Mordor: Shadows of middle earth, Dead Island main campaign and Dying Light). You know, there is only one piece of software which is scarier than SOMA and Alien: Isolation together... Catalyst.

Quoting: jsa1983I played for a long half an hour yesterday and indeed I didn't experience any freezes like I used to have like every 20 min or so. FPS is quite stable for me. Catalyst 15.7.
What GPU you use? Maybe some with HD 5000 or HD 6000 series? As I know, this gen cards have bug in Catalyst drivers (we see only missing textures in Bioshock). SO maybe AMD in new driver fixed this?
It's a Radeon HD 7870 GHz edition on Kubuntu 14.04.02 64 bit. Hmm I've tried the game with previous drivers (namely 15.3, and Omega - 14.12. Probably others too) and the game renders properly. I don't miss any textures (I have almost everything set to the best quality). I'll try to give it a run and see if I can post some pics on steam so you can judge by yourself. The performance with those previous drivers was quite good and so is it with 15.7. It's just the random freezes that didn't enable me to play for a long time.
This is confirmed bugs by devs, look here: https://github.com/virtual-programming/bioshockinfinite-linux/issues/10 [External Link]

In this site is also two picture with this issues.

This bug is in Catalyst drivers but only on Terascale processors like HD 5000 and HD 6000 series, so this bug does not apply to your card.
Thanks for the insight. That render in the bug report really is wrong. My gpu is GCN and it does indeed render correctly.
