Quoting: PyreticConsidering the amount of SC fixes lately, I'm glad that I stuck to my usual rule of waiting to buy hardware 1 year after release. Those are all software fixes. They need to get the (unchangeable) hardware part right, which they seemingly did.

How to give Valve feedback when Proton games have issues on Linux / SteamOS

Is that really worth doing though? I uploaded logs and gave really detailed information for 3 different games that have issues with Proton. The Witcher 3, Vampyr, Doom TDA. All 3 are Steam Deck Verified. In all 3 reports, i gave detailed repro steps along with proton logs, and the issue was 100% reproducible. In Vampyr, the report was specifically about a regression in Proton 8 or later on the Steam Deck. I have never heard back from Valve on any of these 3 reports. This effort feels like a waste of time now.😫
Forza Horizon 6 is out, Valve update Proton Hotfix for Linux - initial thoughts

I finally gave in to the temptation today and bought the standard edition, and it's working really nicely on my 7900 XT with Bazzite. There were some stutters but i eliminated them mostly by turning down some settings like terrain deformation and Environment quality. Then I played 5 hours straight with no issues 😊
If you ask me, it's already the year of Linux Desktop. A Microsoft game working well on Linux on the day of release, that's amazing and nobody would have believed that back in 2015! 😝

Quoting: banthornuzprobably a typo, i heard that RT was currently busted on Linux.Quoting: Max CoronelPlayed for about 4 hours. The game is running way better than expected (as long RT is turned on).Mine is running well with the exception that if I turn RT on it crashes so it’s surprising to me that you’re experiencing the opposite.
No black screen, no audio issues, no crashes or visual glitches son far. It just works.
It's far from perfect though. Some hickups here and there, and overall performance could be better.

Quoting: Savor592Vegeta, what does the scouter say about the price of the PS6?just wait until they crawl back to Steam because the revenue declined and noone can afford the PS6 🥰
So: In the mind of Sony CEOs we are going to buy another PC with limited functionality for the same price as a normal PC only to play some games they artificially gated to only run on that limited PC?
Hahahahahahahaha!
Oh wait. They are serious? Let me laugh even louder!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Quoting: pbAs long as they don't start removing them...I don't see this happening at all, the worst thing that could conceivably happen is that they could stop selling the already released PS games.
