NVIDIA switching to open kernel modules by default in future driver update for Turing+

Quoting: finaldestCorrect me if I am wrong but does this mean that Nvidia will officially be moving to open drivers for all future cards?

If so what about HDMI 2.1 support? Because AMD recently confirmed that the HDMI forum will NOT licence out 2.1 support via the AMD open driver.
Interesting point. Maybe they'll change their minds when it's also Nvidia asking.

Men of War II will be online-only at launch but an offline mode is in development

Well. My interest in buying this game is "in development".

(Not really, it's not my kind of game anyway. But I don't play games online, so that's what I would be saying if it was a game I would have been interested in)

Quoting: NezchanIt looks interesting, but the sound effects seem awfully harsh to my ears. I can't help but feel like the running sound and NPC "voices" would annoy me greatly after a while.

Maybe not even that long a while.
Don't most games have volume options on that kind of stuff?

With a Nintendo Switch 2 on the way, I hope Valve make a Steam Deck 2
