Superfluous Returnz is an unnecessary video game of a useless superhero

Quoting: MisterPaytwickJust, for the sake of all that exist, I hope it doesn't go full point-and-click and have some moon logic puzzles.
This may be bad news on that front:
(but where you can to tear your hair trying to solve some puzzles - hair implants are not provided).

Quoting: NanobangKinda exciting. Is it voiced (a la Divinity Original Sin (Yay)? Or is it walls of text like Shadow Run games(which just exausts me)?
I'm fine with walls of text, and a big fan of the Shadowrun games. But the thing Philadelphus describes sounds kind of weird and maybe worst of both worlds.
Fundamentally though I'm fairly up for a turn-based superhero game. Plus you're superhero revolutionaries? Sure, I'm in.

These look just like some games I used to play in actual arcades, which I never got very good at, partly because I just wasn't that good, partly because I couldn't afford too many quarters if I wanted to buy SF books . . .
It'd be nice to have a chance to just play them without worrying about quarters. And this might be just the thing for those times when I just want a quick little game in between things.

Presumably even if they get them working these would play a bit . . . weird on a desktop unless you had a touchscreen.

Quoting: CybolicOh, that's a tricky one! While I like pretty much everything about the concept, I also dislike pretty much everything about the audio :/
If there's an option to disable the soundtrack and voices, I'm in
I quite liked the soundtrack. It's the shirt on the driver I have a problem with. I think neither TÛV, the DMV or the MOT would approve of it for driving (or flying)!
Admittedly that shirt is so loud it probably breaks some noise ordnances.

That looks like a lot of fun. I would probably be absolutely awful at it though.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI've never been able to take seriously the idea that we should retire a letter of the alphabet because, um, Russia is using it? Like, whatever.
Cancel culture has become today's Inquisition.
That's about as ridiculous as the "Z" thing. Ah yes, all those masses of people burned at the stake and tortured to death by cancel culture!

Quoting: damarrinThe logo is VERY unfortunate. As is the name, really. Both for different reasons.

Otherwise, cool.

Edit: I realise they probably were around before the stupid war, so why should change their logo. Still... it was the first thing that came to mind.

Ubisoft just broke their games on Linux desktop and Steam Deck

Quoting: scaineThe ONE time I bought an Ubisoft title, they do this. With their resources, not a single person at Ubi thought to QA this on a Deck?? It beggars belief. They are utterly inept. Beneath contempt. No more money from me, likely ever.
Is it even just on Deck/Linux? If Freejack (first comment page) is right, this may be a fail for everyone. So, even more inept than utterly.
