Finally picked up Surviving Mars. Still would love to see one of these big Paradox sales be all about DLC.

The infinity combinations you can get and that they aren't easy to read. IMO is one of the most powerful tool for text search but also a dangerous one (the day you create your RE it totally makes sense and it is hyper intuitive... six weeks later you want to cry).
I see. So the cautionary tale for young programmers is, if you aren't solid in your commenting and variable names, you'll be condemned to use this stuff.

Quoting: PhiladelphusWow. I never knew I wanted a game with the visual style of Renaissance paintings, but I kinda do now. :O And if it's full of Baroque music (one of my favorite musical periods), well…
Indeed. If it's Baroque, don't fix it.

From the description, I get the impression that
1) This is interesting with some real creation behind it, and
2) It is almost exactly what I would want to avoid experiencing, so like why would I deliberately go experience it?

What market are you talking about? Red Hat is the industry standard and has been for a long time. IBM didn't buy them for no good reason. :P
Welllll . . . certainly I get the impression that if someone in industry is going to pay for something Linux, it will be Red Hat. It's the Enterprise Linux Solution; suits buy it and its support contracts. But I also get the impression that if someone in industry is just going to get a server or something up and running to do a task which is not a big formal rollout with a ton of money involved, it is more likely to be Debian.
