I feel like getting this for everything in it except the Federations.

Quoting: CyrilActually I'm a bit surprised to see a lot of people here using GNOME 3.
I'm not. I don't like it much, but it's fairly popular.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyThe search stuff is fine for things whose name you remember. But, the stuff whose name I remember I mostly don't start from the menu, I start from a launcher--either a launcher I stuck on a taskbar or a launcher I leave sitting on the screen somewhere
If it works anything like the search function on MATE (and I believe it does), you don't have to remember the exact name. I can hit Win then "word processor" and AbiWord, FocusWriter and LibreOffice Writer all come up, and only one of those even has "word" in the name.
Well, I have to admit that's pretty decent. To be honest, I didn't even know Mate had that function--just goes to show, you don't need to dump the menus to do it.

Quoting: MalBut at least this time this didn't affect me: my eu4 stopped work ever since that patch so I'm sitting on the old branch where everything works (thank you steam for the feature). :D
Surprise surprise!

It turned out that it was indeed that treacherous launcher fault after all. Despite disabling all mods the damn thing kept sabotaging my EU4. I had to simultaneously delete all mods files, delete all mods subscriptions on steam, deactivate mods on the launcher and convert to Norse religion to make finally Manchu work.
So at least you got something out of it. Hail Thor, Odin, and above all Freya and Frey, deities that bring you the weekend! (Tomorrow is their day) :D

Quoting: BotonoskiNever much liked digital versions of Monopoly, half the fun of that game is using made up rules that make the game last nearly half a day and pisses off the entire family as a result.
Wow. I can barely get my family to pay attention to the normal rules. And that includes the adults.

As sure as Planet Nibiru, FEMA guillotines, and the Mayan Calendar, combined , no doubt.
Among all the things I've been saying around here the last day or so, it didn't occur to me that this would be controversial. WTF?
I may or may not have misread your post, and not quite understood what you meant by "crash program".

Did you mean the Chinese will be looking for a way to intentionally crash Intel cpu's ?

/me drink and skim alot :/
What Dedale said: I meant the Chinese would seek to rapidly develop and produce their own X86 CPUs so as not to be dependent on North American suppliers. Since this is already I believe one of the stated goals of their "Made in China 2025" schtick, and since various events have shown trade to be surprisingly fragile, this still seems to me pretty likely.

Doesn't seem very "deserted". There's all these friendly critters who want to play!
The visuals are pretty cool. The look kind of reminds me of Transistor for some reason.

It does look nice but actually I can't hack the music. I had to stop the trailer halfway through.
