I won't bother playing this for a long while, I know my computer cant handle it as I've got a 3070 with only 8gb ram and an Intel 10900K, and will be stuck with it for the foreseeable future. At least when I eventually play it in a few years It'll be fully patched.
Why are they calling it Chornobyl?? It's supposed to be Chernobyl.

Okay, someone needs to do this for Ocarina of Time, and quickly, before Nintendo shuts these all down. I've got my official cartridges still so I'd like to be able to play both like this. Unless there is one for OOT already, but I've only been able to find the Majora's Mask ones so far.

This feels like it should raise red flags Anti-Trust wise. This would totally be investigated in the US and possibly blocked. But I don't know what Japan's monopoly laws are like, if they even have any. What little I do know about them is that corporations seem to control things even more than in the US.

I'm surprised Valve allowed this. I can't think of a single time a company has allowed their property to be used on an engine that wasn't theirs. This seems so wrong to not be on Source. Won't be playing it. This will never be as polished as a proper Valve release of conclusion anyway, so I'll stick with that "fan fiction" the original writer released years ago as my conclusion.

More anti-preservation from an industry that actively hates the idea. Laws need to be changed to stop this crap, and how long will it be until other companies start taking people's games away like Ubisoft? Nothing will be done anytime soon though, at least not in the US thanks to results of the latest election... Life sucks.
I'm glad I'veowned licensed all the roms since 2020.

Guess they must be losing too much money over it so they are starting the cuts. Kinda sad that they even need to do that though, you'd think they could easily swallow the costs considering how disgustingly rich and large they are as a corporation due to their monopoly.
Atari acquires Transport Tycoon from Chris Sawyer

The real problem is if Sawyer ever takes the rights to RCT away from Atari. Apparently he's extremely hostile to OpenRCT2's existence and will go after it if Atari ever loses the rights. So it's in everybody's best interest that Atari keeps the rights, or is able to outright purchase the rest of his games from him.

Quoting: soulsourceI hope this isn't bad news for the OpenTTD project.I don't believe it'll be a problem. They've known about OpenRCT2 and OpenTTD for awhile now and not had a problem.

Loved this game when I played a translated rom back in the 2000s. Definitely will pick it up!
In case anyone's interested since Halloween is upon us, this game is very loosely based on an 80s Italian horror film called Phenomena. It starred Jennifer Connelly and is a pretty good film. The character in this game was designed to look like her.

Since ProtonDB is mentioned, can anyone tell me why no games have been added to it since the end of 2023? Was the site put into maintenance mode or something? The last game it says was added was Blue Protocol in December 2023.

Quoting: BeamboomBecause free anything goes against their capitalistic principals and is an affront to them?Quoting: Leahi84What I don't understand is why are these companies so hostile towards Linux? This is such a common misconception. They are not hostile. Why should a corporation be hostile against anything really.
They are ignorant towards Linux, that's what they are. The Linux segment is so miniscule, and the cheating problem so massive, so the potential loss is nothing compared to not holding the cheaters at bay.
