Hard pass on this. I can't even formulate a reason right now, maybe because I'm too tired ATM, I dunno. I just know I have absolutely no interest after watching the trailer.

Yeah. Anyone who expected the incompetent and spineless UK government to do anything was not paying attention to reality. The only valid reason I can give them for not wanting to wade into this is that I have to imagine the credit card processors would unload massive lawsuits against the government over any attempted regulations.
The U.S. government won't do anything either because the MAGA party (formerly the Republicans) is in the pocket of the evangelicals who want adult content banned. It's really hard not to feel like we're all screwed.

I just purchased all the DLC I did not previously own during the Autumn Sale. I am glad I can finally play it again. I don't care much about co-op mode since I do not have friends.

I'm surprised they haven't given up on this. I know of no-one personally who has even heard of it, let alone tried it.

If you're a fan, I imagine you are aware of Freespace 2 Open, which you can install via the Knossos launcher. I tried it for the open source Babylon 5 mod, The Babylon Project.Yes. I use that. I'm actually in the middle of that Wing Commander mod at the moment.

Freespace 2! One of the best space combat games/sims ever! Super glad. I hope the first Freespace and the Descent series get added too.

When BioWare or BioWare's IP gets sold off at the inevitable auction to try and pay down EA's massive new debt, Larian, CD Projekt Red, or Obsidian had better be there to snap up Dragon Age, or I will be upset. CD Projekt Red would probably be the best choice. Then, hire back the Dragon Age team and give them whatever resources, time and creative freedom they need to make the real Dragon Age 4 so we can decanonize Veilguard, bury it forever, and pretend it never happened.

I will not be purchasing any more games from them. I will keep my EA account to play the games I already own, which are just my BioWare games, and my old Command and Conquer games, but they will not receive any more money from me, including whatever Mass Effect 5 is or was going to be. This is simply disgusting on so many levels.

Yeah. I agree to disagree. I don't see why it matters that there have been some hits on Steam, and I'm only speaking from my perspective. Anyway, it's in your best interest as a gaming news site that they and all games keep coming, so I can see why you'd be all for that. Though maybe that's a problem too. The number of games released in general constantly is also tiring. I don't know; maybe I'm just getting burned out overall. Life is exhausting.

I'm saying all this as someone who grew up playing games like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D in the 1990s, but I am feeling really exhausted with these kinds of games. There are just too many of them coming out all the time, and many of them blur together for me. It feels as though everyone needs to create their own 90s shooter. I think the genre could use a break for a while.
