Thanks, took Hyper Light Drifter.
Full Throttle Remastered is a great game, I can really recommend it. I really liked the voice acting, the main guy has quite an interesting voice.

I think, Proton is great. I have already installed a couple of games I got through Humble Bundle or somewhere else that were windows only. My thanks to everybody who has contributed to this. First of all, the Wine guys, Valve, Mr. Philip Rebohle here and of course all those other people that made this possible.
Curious:
What do the Wine people themselves think? I mean, the actual developers/contributors?
What are the chances DXVK will become part of Wine?
Or to be more general: Other parts of Proton?

Valve's digital card game 'Artifact' to release November 28th with Linux support

In StS you have exactly 50 rounds to "build" your deck. Every win, you can choose between 3 random cards and sometimes you get a random artifact. Every round is random and which bosses you encounter is random too.
Sure, there is a lot of strategy/tactics involved in that since you have to deal with the cards/artifacts you get. But some combinations simply don't work (IMHO). And then you can't win. Or you get the perfect stuff and it is easy.
I hated that. Don't get me wrong here: It is different from the classics and a quite interesting fresh approach. So, maybe you will love it. But I wouldn't base my judgment on trading card games on Slay the Spire. Love it/Hate it -> Doesn't mean you love/hate other trading card games ...

Quoting: FeistInteresting, I still haven´t tried "Slay the Spire", which I believe is also some kind of highly acclaimed card game. If I enjoy that title then I might just be hungry for more come late november.I really like trading card games, play Magic the Gathering a lot ages ago, but I didn't like Slay the Spire. It is in some ways a very good game, but there is no real "deck builder" experience. In a lot of these games you have to create your deck, optimize it, tune it and adapt it for specific enemies. It's a bit like building your character in a RPG.

The excellent card-game roguelike 'Slay the Spire' adds a third character to the mix

Nice!
Just started playing a week ago and finished the game yesterday with The Silent. So, this is quite perfect timing. ;)

I think it is a great game, developers put a lot of love and effort into it. I can really recommend it, but there are also some buts ...
It's currently unclear when act 2 will come out and if one has to pay for it. It took me just about 4 or 5 hours to complete the game and get all possible steam achievements (ok, I had to consult a guide for the latter). So it is very short. IMHO it is either a tad pricey (10$ per act) or quite cheap (10$ for all 4 acts).

I have funded the game on kickstarter and didn't regret it.
I played Maniac Mansion more than 20 years ago on C64 (maybe Amiga, but I think it was on the c64). The game has lots of references to that old game. I only remembered a few. It actually was a bit easier than Maniac Mansion. In MM you could choose two people out of 6 (or maybe 5) to play the adventure with, but not all of them could solve all riddles. Damn, MM was hard.
I guess, a lot of people who had computers than, are still "computer geeks" and use Linux.
I recommend to play the game on easy mode first. The riddles are far easier and you know later in the hard mode, what you need to generally do. In hard mode, it is very easy to get lost with the many options, people and places. Finishing the game in easy mode first gives you a general impression what you need to do next.

Thumbs up for the game. The story is very good so far, it really drew me in. I have finished both SR and Dragonfall and I like both. Technically the game improved a lot, new features made it more fun to play. I probably won't be able to finish it before the release of White March, but I am quite confident that I will finish it.

It's unlikely that the increase in respondends has affected the Steam Machine ratio, since all other questions show the same picture as before.
Speaks well for data quality. :-)
(Internet surveys are often problematic because they are easily gamed. Almost useless on controversial topics)
That said:
It was always "No" for me regarding SteamMachines, so my opinion might not be too useful. In the beginning, I thought SteamMachines were more like XBone or PS 4. A cute box. Now, there are lots of them, all looking different.
Maybe some people have realized: That's just a PC with SteamOS (and thats essentially Linux + Steam).
Also, what about "Steam Link". Maybe some people also plan to use that box instead of a SteamMachine?
Maybe ask:
Do you play in your living room? Do you plan to?
Steam Link (Yes, No, Maybe)

I have a Radeon 4870 and I am quite happy with the game so far. There are some complaints in the forum about bugs, but no Linux specific stuff I noticed.

Quoting: chris200x9Does this work with the FOSS radeon driver? It works at least with Mesa 10.6 (from Oibaf). Probably it will work with the normal version too.

@tesfabpel: It will count as a Linux sale if you buy it in Linux _and_ don't play it on Windows for at least a week.
I bought it already because they have shown with several previous games that they can do a solid Linux version, so their promise was good enough for me.
