I tried the demo and it worked quite well. I liked the game and had no issues with it, except one. I noticed that I had really high framerates (couple of hundred) and asked about it in the forum. The dev answered and promised to fix it in the next build. It is always nice to get feedback from the dev.
I also was mostly lucky so far with Kickstarter, well the recently released Backbone was the exception (and the open letter of the developers was the icing on the cake), so I will give this one a go too.

Ah, Troika. Those guys. I loved Fallout and later Arcanum. I have played Fallout 1+2 again a while ago with the community patches. Still good. True, those games were not the pinnacle of stability, but considering the complexity of the games, they were simply amazing.
Interestingly, since Obsidian and InXile were acquired by Microsoft, they kinda all work for the same company again. I hope, they do another game together.

Rochard was really fun and I immediately checked if there were plans for a sequel. I would have immediately bought it. And I don't even like that kind of game normally. Sadly though, even at that time it was already clear that the company is dead. But even after all this years, I really don't get it how that gem could have failed.
How about a nice game of Chess with Lichess

Lichess is really good, it also has a lot of training features, not only simple training positions with varying difficulties, but it also allows you to train based on your own games. It let's you search for improvements (based on the computer analysis).

I've finished the demo now, nice game. The riddles were tricky and not stupid. I had to use a mixture of switching "characters" and use the abilities (smell, climb, see in the dark, ...), talking with err "people" and combining items. The things I had to do made sense. Some games just make the riddles ridiculous hard by forcing you to do weird stuff. (I really hated Deponia in that regard)
On the Linux side: I had no issues except one, the framerate is currently unlimited. I asked about it and the developer promised that he will try to fix it in the next build.

Yes, there is no mouse control, but for me that wasn't an issue. The game is quite nice, I really like the idea of the game designers of that Jenny LeClue is a book character and the story is written by the author in game. It starts out fluffy, with riddles for children (where are the missing books in the classroom) then the author gets angry and later on he becomes totally drunk. And it gets weird ...
The only thing to complain about is the cliffhanger ending. I guess, the game designers simply had to get the game out to earn money. So, they kinda stopped without really resolving everything ...
I still enjoyed it. Maybe I will give it another run to get some missing achievements.

The Raven Remastered (I have played the original a couple of years ago and liked it quite much. The story, even if it has a few little plot holes, is very nice)
Primordia: A real oldie, with an exceptional story. You play as a robot in a dystopian world and wonder, if robots were really created by man to maintain the world? Or is man is just a myth, an esoteric belief that a rational robot should ignore. (I confess, I am playing that one with a walkthrough, it is pretty hard and I play this one just for the story)
Beyond a Steel Sky: I just started, can't say anything yet about the game.
Cows vs. Vikings: A nice tower defense game.

I played it quit a bit and I like it. I agree, the game still needs a bit of polishing, a few convenience features here and there but it already works quite well. I guess, the developers agree too, since it is only "Beta 0.8". In general, it is better than most. There are not too many Tower Defense games on desktop that are worth playing. This one is nice.
On Linux there is still one issue with videos, they won't play since they are not in the right format, but the developer said it will be fixed soon. While the videos are actually quite nice, it isn't such a big deal. I had no issues playing the game itself.
