Wonderful! This was the first game I got for my Amiga and I loved it. The graphics and cinematic feeling were just mindblowing at the time, when you came from a C64/ZX Spectrum or other contemporary machines.
Even though the C64 version of this game was allegedly superior in gameplay, the Amiga version still started my love affair with Cinemaware. "S.D.I., King of Chicago, IT Came from the Desert, Lords of the Rising Sun, Rocket Ranger, Wings!" I bought everything from them as long as they existed.
Will buy this for certain!🥰

He said some "fairly reasonable" things, that even if I didn't fully agree with, I also didn't think was completely wrong...until those last few sentences when he went "All In" with the: "Anyway, I'm just a scumbag and proud of it!".
Luckily, it's been a while since I last used "Lutris" and never on my latest computer. It looks like that won't change anytime soon.

I'm not that into "fancy graphics" in a general sense but..."Old 3D" from (roughly speaking) the time before the release of "Half-Life 2", that is graphics that I have a bit of a hard time enjoying.
I've had this game on my steam wishlist for a long time but seeing this trailer only makes me think: -Why, oh why couldn't this game get the same treatment that "System Shock" got with it's remake, or "Half-Life" got with the release of "Black Mesa".

Nice, with that, the game returns to my wishlist (after a long abscence).
I'm in no hurry to buy though, for one thing, this is a remake of a game that I felt was already "modern enough" with the 2014 windows-HD release.
For another thing, unlike many, I never felt this title "stood out" that much among the RE-games. Finally, due to the prolonged use of DRM, this version already feel like quite an "old title" (relativly speaking)
So...cheap enough price and I'll buy at some point.

It's been ages since I last played a Star Trek-game. I remember playing "Star Trek: 25th Anniversary" and the sequel "Judgement Rites", then I played "ST TNG: A Final Unity" and finally a really bad "ST DS9" game, then...nothing.
I'll check this one out, it's been too long since I tried something Trek-related.

GOG job listing for a Senior Software Engineer notes "Linux is the next major frontier"

Having both support for "Galaxy" and (preferably) some measure of: "if GOG end up making use of Wine / Proton", that would be the proverbial "Game Changer" for me.
Up until now, I've largely ignored GoG, aside from buying games for "ScummVM" and a few older titles for DosBOX. The reason for that, is that their commitment to Linux (compared to Valve) has seemed "half-assed" at best and almost non-existing at worst.
This change, if it's realized, could mean that I actually start using GoG for new/modern games. A legitimate alternative to Steam.

Lol, not exactly an improvement.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPShame, really.Exactly! I used this as an indicator that a post was silly/nonsensical, which (in my experience) when I bothered to read such a post, it usually was. Now there will will be no clear indication, so you'll have to.....ignore all posts that doesn't have massive "thumbs up awards"?
Large amounts of clown awards were a good way to quickly notice idiotic postings without having to read them entirely.
The idea of "purely showing appreciation" sounds like coddling and participation trophy nonsense to me.
Only positive thoughts allowed, no critique please.
Not really my style.
I had no idea that points got transferred that way, though.
Then again, I assign no value to these points whatsoever as they are so plenty I don't think anyone could even spend them all.
Lol, not exactly an improvement.

The game also has the neat feature that lets you switch between Turn Based & RTwP with a button press, something I feel all games like this would benefit from.

Quoting: Beta VersionSwordhaven: Iron Conspiracy has just been released from early access and has a native Linux build.Yeah, I bought this and a couple of hours in, I'm very happy with my purchase. Almost feels like I'm playing good old "Baldur's Gate" for the first time again.

I might buy this at some point when it's really cheap. To be completely honest, Skyrim was the first TES-game that I truly liked, from beginning to end.
All the others were titles that I loved for the first dozen of hours or so but the longer I played the more fed up with them I felt. I really can no longer remember what all of my gripes were (it's been too long) but I did feel disappointed with character progression, magic-system, side quests, quest rewards, npc:s, repetitive gameplay/quests etc. etc.

Very nice! Still I'm a little disappointed that they didn't make a remake like they did with the first game.
I greatly enjoyed their new version of System Shock, feeling that they found nearly the perfect balance between original style & gameplay yet with greatly improved visuals, new visual elements and QoL-enhancements.
