No one else is asking this, but I'm not sure how exactly removing physical cards will make things safer as opposed to digital ones. In physical stores, there are people that can step in and prevent someone from being scammed, while if they are instructed to purchase the cards online, there is less of a chance for an outside observer to step in, and it won't give them as much time to figure out they're being duped. I know Steam's website can still issue the same warnings that stores are putting on signs, but I haven't purchased a gift card online before so I'm not entirely sure.

This was an incredible project to try yesterday. Just note that unincluded in the requirements, your distro needs glibc v2.43, and if playing with Prism Launcher (or any other launcher) ensure that you give the flatpaks the right file permissions to use said glibc, or use a different Prism Launcher package like the one from the AUR.

The numbers were certainly far greater than what even I could expect. Seeing the +3.10% growth is wild, even considering the usual Chinese New Year shake up, as that's +2% net since Jan. Sure, the numbers might get adjusted, but as they stand right now? Absolutely wild. I was freaking out seeing how the tracker would need to add another percent and some change to show the new number. We finally broke the 10% barrier for English as well. March has set records beyond my wildest expectations, and it feels so great.

Tech has advanced enough to no longer justify making dedicated game boxes with locked down software that become e-waste. From a price perspective the games will cost more, not to mention the lack of access to the many marketplaces that include plenty of free ones, fan creations, or ones without DRM.

Quoting: scaine12. Impact on website scraping from multiple companies building genAI models. Wikipedia in particular has had to actively block enormous ranges to prevent the scraping from leading them into financial run. Again, can't be bothered to find the link, but there's a Wikimedia blog talking about it.Wikipedia recently signed API access deals for AI training, so I guess getting paid for the training data is preferable to it just getting scraped.
