Quoting: Shaddycati think the LCD model was sold at lost, but not the other ones, i'm not the only one who thinks that, someone did the math on how much those stuff cost (someone who work at this type of industry, i forgot the name of the person)Quoting: elmapulAI claim one more victim. What does AI have to do with the LCD model being discontinued? AI isn't affecting LCD production at all.
not that i wanted the LCD model anyway, but not only AI is taking people jobs now its making everything more expensive for the people who still have jobs.
More likely people just weren't buying the LCD model enough to warrant the production costs for Valve.

some of those assets seems like they were draw on top of assets from pokémon or rpg maker...
or that they havent even changed anything on the original assets...
i wonder if this game is free from copyright violation or it might be taken down at any moment...

that is because most of the time spent playing 2025 AAA relases was on epic desperate store, with they paying an premium price for big companies to give away their floped games for free. 😆
then people proceed to download and never purchase an thing on their store.

im a bit of a fanboy of Logitech , i used to purchase generic keyboards that lasted for few weaks then broke, decided that an expensive but durable keyboard would be an better use of my money than purchase an new one every week, purchase one of then because it had 5 years of guarantee... i think it was 15 years ago and only now some keys are failing.
not to mention the battery also last forever on it, quite energy efficient

its a shame the games couldnt auto detect you are on an SSD and delete the extra bloat...
or detect you are on an HDD and duplicate the data after you downloaded it instead of spending your internet downloading a lot of duplicate data.
i put the quotes because its not real time in the computer definition of real time, that means predictable time.
speaking of that, sony already said this was going to happen on their consoles, and indeed it happened firs there (this game was already smaller there)
its turns out that this optimization , while was also possible on pc, was delayed because most people still used HDD

Quoting: The_Real_BittermanMaaan glad Linux has CoW file systems. Well doesn't help with downloading but at least storing these chunky games is better.it was useless in this case, because it couldnt auto detect those file duplications and save space, nor ir would be usefull in an HDD where you really needed those duplications.
Quoting: PiwixI've always thought many of these 100gb+ games were absurdly bloated. Seems in the modern era increased performance and storage has led to less optimization and efficiency.optimization can mean better performance or less resource usage, since games are an application that need to be executed "in real time", using more storage is preferable over having stuttering, load times or lower fps.
