What gets me is, why bother with DX12? just jump in on Vulkan as that can be used across win/mac/linux. But also will be usable for the people that don't have/want win10 . Just seems like work for nothing to me in this situation

Quoting: pete910Was this that was used to show how well mantle run compared to dx11 iirc. Reminds me of supreme commander on that screen shot
Same people, same engine (mostly), different game. Star Swarm was the Mantle tech demo.

Well tried it on mine, was quite surprised tbh. Not brilliant mind

Set on 1440p All max, 30-60 . odd drop to 20 on transition of cut scenes. but seem fine/smooth. Did try with the vsync off but jumped all over from 30 to 120 depending where I looked.

Quoting: pete910To be honest the egosoft ports have worked flawless for me, dont see this been bad.

Quoting: XeekeiConsidering I can't even launch X3: Reunion or Terran Conflict, and that the keyboard doesn't work in Albion Prelude; X Rebirth doesn't have a high bar to clear.
What you running Xeekei ?
Arch Linux 64-bit with Cinnamon desktop.

AMD FX-8350
GTX 670 with Nvidia's proprietary driver. I have 3 monitors plugged in, all are 1080p, but one is 144 Hz.
Worth a shot with just one monitor? Could be the multi-monitor setup causing the problems. Not had a NV card for a while so cant help much.

Well, done first mission of the campaign. It's working well here.

No issues. Have it set at ultra @ 1440p. FPS 70-80. Cut scenes are 110fps (4790k + 290x)

I don't get how the likes of Valve/Aspyr/feral/Metro guys and what not can get games to use AMD GPU's fine but Techland cant
