Quoting: 14I keep being impressed myself. I get 100-140 FPS on max settings. It's just incredible that it works that well. It makes me think about trying Destiny 2 and Battlefield V. I got Destiny 2 for free a couple months ago, so might as well. But Battlefield V would be a plunge because I'd have to buy it.

I remember someone mentioning that playing Destiny 2 on Wine will just get you banned.

Was about to post the same thing.

Quote> TF2 feels like it has no identity, it feels…bland.

Well, that's a very awkward statement to bring into discussion.
My question is why you said that? It's like pouring gas on the floor and waiting for match to drop. If you knew people would criticize and complain about that statement (and even you admit it) why say it?

I know there is freedom of speech and all but instead further discussion into the DXVK this went literally into another waters...

It's an opinion, Like all reviews/articles. They are all opinions of the respective editors.

Rocket League can now be played online across Steam and all major consoles

Quoting: pete910You can get it the the windows store for windows Xbox obviously as well as consoles, but to say it's exclusive to steam is wrong.

What does it have to do with Linux though? We are talking about Linux gaming, so the Linux game is Steam exclusive. It's weird you are trying to avoid admitting the fact.

I agree nothing regards Linux. But technically Steam is exclusive to SteamOS and Ubuntu.

QuoteBut @pete910 was very insistent it's not the reason.

I never said it WAS or WASN'T the reason, I said the just MAY not wish to WITHOUT any particular reason.

Quoting: GuestHe is probably a PC only user and clearly wants DRM Free games. So there is really no point in arguing.

We are talking about Linux games, if you missed the context. And sure, I want DRM-free games. But that's besides the point. As I asked, what other store is selling the Linux version?

With not a Steam Exclusive he means the Console Versions probably.

On pc you can only get it on Steam.

You can get it the the windows store for windows Xbox obviously as well as consoles, but to say it's exclusive to steam is wrong.

Quoting: pete910I think I'm wasting my time as I don't seem to be able to get you to grasp what I am saying.

So, it is Steam exclusive. Indeed, please don't waste time with pointless statements like "it's not Steam exclusive", when we are talking about Linux gaming specifically.

Seriously! I see that this is a sore subject for you but please, GET OVER IT

What is so bad in using steam?
You bang on about rewarding developers for the work regards a Linux version but you seem to fail that without Valves efforts there would be even less in either stores. That's not including the mass of work that Valve have put into Mesa and the AMD driver that you are currently using.

Do you not think that Valve requires some sort of reward for their efforts?

I digress, You seem to think that the Rocket league devs have to have a reason for not releasing it on Gog, What I am trying to say with my original reply to you was they may not wish too nor do they have any particular reason why they haven't.

Have you ever Emailed them directly To see if they plan to release on GOG, If not why ?

Quoting: pete910If yes then steam is more than likely available in your distro's repos

I'm not using Steam. So the above is irrelevant.

irrelevant to you, yes. To them, No

Do you see what I am getting at?
