Battlefield will never happen, Until EA has origin in*nix + that stupid browser plugin it ain't gonna happen. Short of these steam boxes with steamOS doing exceptionally well that is

COD is more of a possibility with it been a steam game but I have my doubts about that too tbh

MaelraneShowing support now will change the metric though. It will count towards Windows, so that's why I'm not supporting any early access game that doesn't support my favorite OS.

It's difficult, even more so for Trine 3, but I will stay strong :X

I do the same bar Star citizen.

Got burned with UT3 many moons ago

Interstellar Marines FPS Big Update Due This Month, New Online Modes

EikeI liked to play Call of Duty, at least when I found a public server with people not being to childish and aggressive. Is there any suitable game on Linux for me?

Check out Squad. Just got green-lit on Steam and it will have same-day linux support (uses UE4 engine) and looks like they are approaching it correctly.

Only linux server is confirmed!

Having said that there's some conflicting forum posts on the matter.

As someone that had seen the greenlit on steam I was kinda upset that there was no linux mentioned so never gave it a second glance. After a look in their forums it's looking quite promising. It'll run like garbage on AMD though I bet. Still cant get UT alpha to work on mine

No interest in COD past cod 4 . Don't even want it on linux tbh. Battlefield has gone/ing the same way as COD has too.

Unfortunately they are cash cows and would also show linux gaming as a serious contender/alternative .

But interstellar marines is a unforgiving but rewarding game I've found. If you like tactical shooters you will like this! If you try to go rambo you end up dead around the first corner

What gets me is, why bother with DX12? just jump in on Vulkan as that can be used across win/mac/linux. But also will be usable for the people that don't have/want win10 . Just seems like work for nothing to me in this situation
