What??? I spent weeks trying to get the damn game to work under Wine to no avail... I'll give it a shot with Proton now and see how it fairs.

Use lutris, it has a custom wine pkg for star citizen

I played with every conceivable graphic setting and it was all the same.

I really don't want to return it, as it was only $0.99, and seems like a fun game. But it seems like a silly issue to have.

My PC:

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: AMD Radeon Vega RX 56 (using MESA 18.32-0)
OS: Manjaro (XFCE) on Kernel 4.19.16-1
RAM: 32GB DDR4 RAM
Storage: 1tb SSD

Plays and looks fine for me on Antergos, Mesa 18.2.3

It is actually a fun game, It was a shame there's not been many play it in general. Will have to have a blast tonight :D
