There are videos with Ben Lesnick reporting confidently that "Linux will be on or near Windows release" and I can't help but smirk knowing that without even a Linux demo build today, there is no way they will meet a day one launch.

Quoting: PeciskQuoting: DamonLinuxPLSadly TF2 is now (as many gamers reporting) broken on Linux. Look at valve github, many reports and no one from Valve carring about it. TF2 after The Tough Break for me is unplayable. Before I playing in max setting on my notebook, now I can't play even on low details. FPS drop (a lot of Linux gamers), game have micro lags (also many Linux gamers reporting) and often crashing or hanging X server.
So, maybe anyone have contact with anyone who know if or when Valve want to fix it? or how to fix it manually?
None of these things for me on both laptop and desktop. I will guess - AMD?

Is that AMD-Bridgman ?

Quoting: bridgmanQuoting: TheRiddickI doubt a software patch will fix a fault with a dpm hardware issue on a microprocessor die! Unless they down-clock all 480 card (lol)
Remember those on-chip microcode images we load at power up that some people complain about ? If a software update is not sufficient and the DPM logic actually needs to change that just means an updated microcode image...
Is that AMD-Bridgman ?
