I do worry at times that Vulkan will end up in a similar situation to OpenGL with developers using special Nvidia extensions and performance stuff which Intel and AMD may not have
This!!!! and unfortunately they more and likely will.

Bet they make sure async compute aint used too much too :whistle:

That was me :D The odd map does slow down though, mainly the ice cube map(forget the name of it)

There was a few that was running 390's without issues too last night.

It is a fun game, There's some quite interesting game modes too.

So basically, we will end up with dev's coding to suite NV hardware again ?

Wasn't Kronos making sure that all the tools are available out the door on release of the final spec?

Just hangs on start-up with me, maxis 1 core out. Left it a while to see if it was building shaders or whatever but no, just hung I guess.

Why has everyone gone off TS, I quite like it, Easy to use, works well. server setup is simple and works across all PC platforms! I don't get the problem with it.

Planetside's 2 voip is somewhat of an overlooked gem to me. Been able to shout to people near for ammo/health and what not is/was damn handy. As well as squad/platoon chat.

Natural Selection 2 has a major update, the Linux experience is quite terrible

Well just gave this a go on the AMD prop driver, Runs fine! They have certainly improved it since it went community driven/run

Makes a change with NV having issues and not AMD :P

Though it might not be driver/graphics related
